One of my mutuals, a gay man in a refugee camp in Sudan, reached out to me to tell me about a fundraiser started for him by one of his friends. Please consider donating! He is homeless and in desperate need of money for medical treatments for himself and the child of one of his friends as well as to buy tents. Any amount helps.
This is what Brayo told me when we first started talking: My name is Bra… Amira Ward needs your support for Urgent Aid for Brayo and Friends
My baby Qais will die because his surgery is delayed. As an oppressed mother in Gaza, I am forced to postpone his surgical procedure —not by choice, but because this post is ignored and not shared.
I will not forgive anyone who watches my child fade and scrolls past without mercy. One share delays his death—but one donation can end this waiting and bring his surgery closer today.
Every minute without a donation steals something from Qais—his strength, his breath, his chance to live. I beg you as a mother: please donate now. Your donation is the difference between life and loss.
While we wait for a surgery we cannot afford, my baby Qais continues to suffer every day. Time is not standing still for him. Please donate now and help us reach treatment before it becomes too late.
My baby Qais has run out of medicine, and I urgently need to buy a new supply, but I simply do not have the money. To everyone who helped us before, I am begging you from my heart—please consider supporting Qais again today. Your kindness has kept him going, and he still desperately needs your help.
My daughter Yusra underwent surgery because of a bombing near our tent. My daughter was injured and had an operation. She needs treatment and food, which I cannot provide. Please help my daughter to survive. Donate $50 to provide treatment and food for one day

My name is Nour, I’m 18 years old. I once dreamed of becoming a doctor—to help people, to heal, to bring hope. I studied hard and believed that education was my way out😭.
But the war took everything.💔
In a single moment, my home was destroyed. Everything I loved—my books, my memories, my dreams—was buried under rubble.😭😭💔💔
Now, I live with my family in a torn tent. It doesn’t protect us from the cold or the burning heat. We have no food, no clean water, no safety—nothing.😭😭💔💔
Every night we sleep not knowing what tomorrow will bring: a chance at life… or more pain.🍉🍉
My mother is elderly and needs care. I used to dream of helping others, but today I can’t even help my own family.💔🍉
I’m reaching out to every kind heart reading this: please, help us. Any amount, any support, means the world.🙏🙏💔🍉
Your kindness could help us survive… and maybe, one day, I’ll return to school and chase my dream again.❤️

My name is Widad from wounded Gaza. My home was destroyed under shelling, and all that remains are painful memories and heavy days of fear and displacement among the rubble, searching for safety.
Amid this devastation, my daughter Najah is fading before my eyes. She suffers from severe deficiencies in vitamins, iron, and calcium. Her small body grows weaker day after day, more fragile and less able to endure. I watch her and feel helpless, wishing I could give her what would restore her health and her smile. Please, save Najah and her children before illness overwhelms them further.
As for Ahmed, he has struggled since childhood with excessive electrical activity in his brain. He requires careful medical follow-up and continuous treatment to keep his condition stable. Any delay in receiving proper care could put his life at serious risk. Between the pain of loss and the fear of illness, we stand at the edge of what we can bear, holding onto hope and pleading for your help before it is too late.

Because of the loss of my husband, I now live with my daughter Najah and she is a mother of four children, facing the harshness of life with patience and strength despite the severe suffering she went through because of the war. We lost our home and began to live with our children in a tent in the middle of the str without security or stability. Her suffering was not limited to that, I also suffer my mother Wadad, who was disabled, who was exhausted by displacement and suffered from chronic diseases such as diabetes and high blood pressure, which requires continuous treatment and care. Despite the harsh conditions, we are still trying with all our strength to provide food for our children and my mother, and seek urgent humanitarian support to meet their basic needs and provide the necessary treatment, clinging to the hope of a more dignified and safe life for al them.
She never imagined finding herself in a situation that forced her to write these words, but life took an unexpected and destructive turn. Her family, consisting of my beloved husband and our four children - two daughters and two sons - is facing a crisis that we canpot overcome alone
We ask for help urgently because we can't do it alone We need to rebuild not only our house, but our lives. Every donation, no matter how large, will be allocated directly to provide a safe place for our children to sleep, enough food for them, and a chance to hope again. We ask you, if you can help us in these difficult circumstances, to appoint us, and we will be grateful to you forever. Perhaps your generosity and generosity are the light that illuminates our paths in this darkness.
Please help me donate and share🙏
Thank you.

My mother is in critical condition, and no one is reaching out to help us.
25 days have passed without a single donation.
Illness is consuming her body, and the cold is speeding up her death.
There is no treatment, no hospitals, and no time left to waste.
Please… my mother is dying in my hands.
Help her. Donate, or at least share my campaign — your share could save her life.

The suffering in Gaza is not a 'weather phenomenon' or just a harsh winter. Cold doesn't kill on its own; it is the political decisions to block warmth and medicine that kill. Don't let the terminology deceive you; the tragedy is a result of aid restrictions and a siege, not just natural conditions.
To move beyond mere analysis: this is the reality at the Rafah crossing closed by an Israeli decision. Thousands of tons of aid are barred from entry while the suffering of those inside deepens. The world watches, but hunger and cold do not wait
As the winter cold intensifies and restrictions tighten, my family and I stand in the midst of this siege, appealing to your hearts. We only seek a chance to survive and to secure the basic necessities that are denied to us every day.Your support is not just a donation; it is hope and a new life for my family under these harsh conditions. Please be our support when we need it most.To stand by us and support my family, please use this link
My name is Maram, I am 25 years old from Gaza. I dreamed of a peaceful life, spending my life with my husband and my three children... but the war turned this dream into an impossible one 💔😭. We lived through this genocide with all its painful details and we are still suffering from it😭. We were so happy when the ceasefire was announced, and we returned to our homes in northern Gaza after being displaced for a year and a half in a tent in the south of the Gaza Strip. After repairing a small room in our destroyed house, we began to live there and start over. Unfortunately, the war came back, and it was even stronger than before 💔. Now, we have no shelter or source of income. We have used up all our savings during the war. I know I created my campaign very late, but that's because I have no other means to help my family 🙏. I am completely confident and hopeful that someone here will help us as much as they can and save my family in these tough circumstances 😔.
I know how painful and frustrating it is to start over from scratch, but I hope to get any amount for my family 🥺🙏.
My name is Maram, a Palestinian woman from Gaza. I am 26 years old and a mother of three children: Malik (8 years old), Ibrahim (6 years old
So, please, donate to my campaign, even if it's a small amount—it will have a big impact on us 🥺. May God bless you, my friend 🥰❤️.

Pick one of James Baldwin's works and read it!!! The Fire Next Time is an excellent essay, most of us are familiar with the quote on gay white people from The Last Interview but not the rest of it. If Beale Street Could Talk even has a movie!
