genuinely really impressed with pass the monster meat's magic system and approach to "monster food" in general bc it goes to great painful lengths to explain Why the taboo against eating monsters is there in the first place (the magic in monsters poisons humans, leading to at best heavy nausea and at worst just straight Death, in addition to some religions outright calling it a sin to eat anything with a soul) while also coming up with these wildly inventive ways to make it safe for people while emphasizing that the thing that lets nations live or die, the thing that worries all people, is the simple matter of food security

great thing about empires smp is that it’s literally pretending to be mermaids with your friends. everyone gets together and says “hey do you want to play barbie with me. what’s your character” and it’s like “oh i’m an immortal ocean queen that’s a mermaid but instead of a fish i’m a blue axolotl which is SUPER rare and i have a badass trident and also i’m married to my irl husband‘s character and i’m a goddess :)”

The ED for Secrets of the Silent Witch has finally dropped, and clearly the animation team is personally targeting my floriography-obsessed ass with precision that rivals Monica's. Not complaining, these are all absolutely precious.

First up, we have Yellow Lilacs. Far less common than their purple of white counterparts, the Yellow Lilac is the symbol of Friendship and New Beginnings.

Next, we see Baby's Breath. This is a more well known flower common used as an accent in wedding bouquets as they represent Everlasting Love, but the small blooms are also used to convey Innocence and Modesty too.

Lavender Cotton is an interesting one that isn't seen all that often, representing Virtue.

And to finish it off, we get Blue Daisies, a flower that is used to convey Long Term Loyalty and Trust. Truly a lovely group of flowers to give those new to the story of Secrets of the Silent Witch their first impression of the friendships that Monica makes through the course of the show, which is of course the last image that the ED leaves off on. ^‿^
