@noncanonfan So if you’ve ever seen the show Freaks and Geeks, the two main characters last name is Weir. This show is based on the year 1980. Sam Weir (the male main character) is a 14 year old freshman in high school in this year. MBAV, Benny is a 14 (?) year old freshman in high school but based in the year 2010. So Benny would have been born in 1996, which would’ve given Sam time to grow up, finish high school, get married, and have a kid. They both are very similar. They both are geeks/nerds, both like sci-fi, both get “bullied” for being lame, and both wear striped shirts all the time (I’m pretty sure striped shirts isn’t just a nerd thing) and they sort of look similar in looks. Both have shaggy brown hair, both really skinny. Sam was pretty short though and Benny is super tall. And I was thinking that Benny’s mom could possibly be Kim Kelley, the ‘freak’ who use to “bully” but flirt with Sam. She’s tall and has blue eyes which could make Benny have green eyes since Sam’s is brown. Part two of my theory is that the three of them were in a car crash when Benny was a newborn and he was the only survivor. Now then,Benny has mentioned something like once or twice about his dad in season one, but he could have schizophrenia or something that makes him believe that his dad is still around and everyone around him just lets it happen because it makes him happy (or his dad just had the magazines before he died and Benny is keeping his dads old stuff). And Benny seems to have a weird fear of cars. In season one, Sarah got a car but Benny only got near it, he never got in it. By season two he was definitely old enough to get a permit or even a license (because Ethan got a permit) but instead he still rides his bike instead. In the Fanged and Furious episode, he never ONCE actually got in the car that Ethan was having trouble with if you noticed because what if since he was a baby when he got in a car crash, he may not have remembered it exactly but it still causes trauma so it could be possible that every time Benny gets into a car, it triggers that and he gets a panic attack.
Do what you will with this lol, I thought of this like three years ago and I know there’s plot holes in it but hey, it’s a fun idea.
