I know L lied when he said Raito was his friend, but I think he thought it could have been possible, if the circumstances had been different (if Raito hadn’t been Kira).

HTTYD 3 theory

I was thinking about what Grimmel said to Hiccup : “Your father knew of me”.

… What if Grimmel lied about this ?

If Stoick knew of Gimmel, he would have known Grimmel is called “the Night Fury Killer” ; and they (probably) would have talked about Night Furies, considering there is still at least one on Berk.

If they had : 

- Grimmel would'nt have been so surprised when the warlords told him Berk was protected by a Night Fury,

- Stoick would have written what he would have learned from Grimmel in the Book of Dragons, to “update it” ; but in HTTYD 1, there’s nothing about Night Furies, and they’re called “Dragons that no one ever saw”…

… Or I am just an “obssessed-by-details-and-coherence-pain-in-the-ass” ?

There are two solutions :

- Or, Grimmel lied to Hiccup, just to harm him, and in that case, he is an arsehole

- Or, Grimmel really met Stoïck, but Stoïck thought Grimmel is so dangerous that he never told Berkians he met him, and in that case... Grimmel is an arsehole.

If you had been like everyone else, like the other Vikings, well, you would have killed Toothless with no hesitation, and nothing would have changed ! And the day you would have met Grimmel, you two would have started a contest of the biggest d… uh… dragon capture, and you would have been like him !

And it didin’t happen, because you were who you were !

All I want for my birthday is for you to check out this link and find any ways you can help.

The suffering has been going on for way too long. Things need to change and we all need to step up. I am tired of seeing it. I'm tired of hearing the "but"s and "well actually"s. I'm tired of seeing people make excuses and acting like this has come out of nowhere. I've seen this since I was a little kid, this shit ain't new. It needs to change. Have that talk with people you know; the ones who think this isn't that big a deal, who have been saying racist things, who say "well if they just talked peacefully this wouldn't be happening", because Black people HAVE been talking peacefully. For DECADES. There are still people trying to talk peacefully NOW, but they're still getting beat down and cuffed. Noone is listening. Racists bitched and complained when Colin Kaepernick excercized his right as an American citizen and took a knee for his people not that long ago! That was one of the most peaceful acts one can possibly do, and still got a ton of backlash for what he (and others) did PEACEFULLY! What needs to happen??? Change.

So please. Listen for once. And find ways you can help.
