The convo between my bestie of 20 years and I about "Seven" this morning. I was the girl in the haunted house.. She and her parents always had a place for me. Anyways hope ya'll are staying Magical out there!! I mean how could you not with the ethereal sounds of folklore floating in the atmosphere.
Thinking about this connection between Picture to burn, Shoulda said no and Betty. Taylor writes up the juiciest love stories. She's the Jane Austen of songwriting!!! Ugh folklore is so hauntingly beautiful, I'm still trying to navigate its simple complexity.....

So my dreamy morning of drinking coffee on a rainy day with my cat listening to the new folklore album has come to a halt. I was so excited to open my email this morning. My digital download wasn't there!!! Feeling frantic was not how I wanted to start the day. I guess it's a good thing I didn't stay up lastnight but I was tossing and turning all night thinking about Swiftmas morning!!! So I emailed them. I did get a response
So for now guess Im gonna avoid spoilers. Im kinda bummed rn. Hard to look at excited posts about new songs so Im gonna avoid social media until I get it and go watch the Cardigan music video. @taylorswift @taylornation

I think I am going to go to bed and wake up to folklore in my email...I don't think I can make it til midnight. Also I'm gonna need some kind of sleep and at least the full day to process it. Also my husband has to get some sleep he has to work early in the morning. Plus I have a dreamy vision of how I am gonna start my day tomorrow. G'night and I'm so excited for everyone who listens. Kinda sad that I won't be able to share this new album with my brother. We always geeked out to Taylor Swift together. He actually started listening to her first and bought TS1 when it first came out and turned me onto her music. He overdosed in March. Covid isnt the only pandemic we are facing....I know he will be listening with me. I am greatful to have the memories of us belting Songs at the top of our lungs and dancing like fools and him telling me how Hot Taylor is and he was gonna marry her...Anyway I just miss him everyday and I've shared every other Taylor album with him so this one will be bittersweet....

I kinda envision a lovelier morning absorbing it with a fresh cuppa joe (heh) and my cat and maybe my husband if it's a rain day tomorrow and if it rains that will just add to the magic...I feel like if I stay up tonight I will be exhausted and not fully able to take it all in and then wouldn't be able to sleep cause of what I just heard but I'm so excited to listen to it and probably won't get much sleep anyways ....decisions,decisions....

It's been a rough year. Lost my job and my little brother in the same week of March. I've been trying to be thankful for the blessings I do have in my life and not focus on the negative. It's been hard. This news of new @taylorswift music today has really brightened my mood. I am beyond excited and oh so ready to get lost in the folklore.

@Taylornation tweets that they want reaction videos when the ME! Video Was released...I replied with a short gif. Today I get an email from Twitter on behalf of Universal Music Group that my video is like copyright infringement or some shit and it's been removed. Like literally wtf...Just that one video though....nevermind all of the other little videos I have posted every where. I'm already salty af about the Loverfest ticket fiasco. I'm just feeling very disappointed this era. @taylorswift
