I find it pretty interesting that after 25+ years of pharmaceuticals being pumped into my body, cannabis is the only thing I've found that consistently helps my symptoms, and that's just with the limited access I've had. It truly is a miracle plant that helps a wide range of issues, yet most doctors can only prescribe a dozen different pills with a million different side effects (and then even more pills to counteract those side effects) all to TRY to achieve the same results I've found with cannabis. This is because the DEA has repeatedly (and just as recently as this past week) spread the lie that there are no therapeutic or medicinal benefits to this plant and have kept it a Schedule 1 drug - in the same category as heroin. Interesting that they have no problem finding the therapeutic value in prescription opioids. Oh, but what's that? The U.S. Government has held a patent on cannabinoids as medication since at least 2003? Patent 6630507 is just one of many. I won't even get into the issue of holding a patent on a naturally occurring plant, but hopefully I will leave you thinking about all the thousands of people that could be living better lives if they had the same kind of access to cannabis as they do to pharmaceuticals. We're not trying to get high, we're trying to get well. It's time for something to change. #Patent6630507 #CannabisIsMedicine #StoptheHypocrisy #TalkToThe6630507Hand
