Meet Carrie, a remarkable mother of two, wife and daughter, friend – ultimately a super hero. One of the things I love about intimate portrait and boudoir photography is the way it allows women to embrace their sensuality and femininity in a way that is liberating. Visiting Cape Cod from the other side of the country, this beautiful family wanted to capture their vacation on the beach with their beautiful little addition… And what better way than spending it by the sea!

I love every single family session that I shoot however this one might be the most unique & fun that I have experienced yet! It was a blast hanging with this family and all of their most excellent moments from sending mom & dad out to “sea” on Big Bertha to an epic icecream break and dramatically jumping off the dock… Love it!

Inspired by the sea and it’s nautical beauty, Melanie and Jarred were married at the St. Elizabeth Seton Church in Falmouth and had their beautiful reception on the water at The Flying Bridge. Navy’s and white’s, hydrangea’s and rose’s, so many lovely details. Their wedding was filled with happiness, family and so much love!

As the mist began to roll in at the Chatham Bars Inn, the Captains Room was being dressed for the most beautiful reception that I have ever seen… SD Events and Lilacs came together to create the vision of the bride, an interior designer, with gorgeous Cape Cod summer colors and stunning textures…
