I love someone.
He is strong and caring, and kind.
His smile is like the sun, his laughter melodious.
But now the clouds have come.
He's battered by storms of lighting, hail, and tempests.
He roars in pain, but they are provoked.
He shrinks away to protect himself.
But they see his weakness and attack.
The people whom he cares for the most.
It hurts to see him in pain
It hurts to see him cowering
It hurts to hear his screams of pain, to see him hurt himself.
It hurts to be an observer, an outsider looking in.
It hurts to be in love with someone whom I cannot save.
