Catherine O'Hara 1954 - 2026
Catherine O'Hara was one of the funniest actresses of her generation, maybe of all time. She made generations laugh from SCTV to Home Alone to Best in Show to Schitt's Creek, there was no one like her. She will be so dearly missed.
this one hurts so hard💔😭 rip legend🕊️
Some of the story sketches for the sequence of Maleficent visiting Prince Phillip in a dungeon cell (by Joe Rinaldi, circa 1955)😈
As a big fan of animation, I have always been passionate about studying the inspirational artwork used in the creation of animated films, and I was very excited to rediscover these sketches on the film’s 2003 special edition DVD. There were enough of them to assemble an almost complete storyboard of this sequence, which prompted me to create a full-on side-by-side video comparison. I don't know why, but something about the story sketches for classic Disney animated films just hits different❤️🔥

I wonder.
ZOOTOPIA 2 (2025): "You're my pack." "You're my fluffle."
Aww the look on Nick's face after finally finding the courage to tell Judy that she's his most precious person & his happiness at finding out she sees him the same way! He doesn't allow himself to be vulnerable in front of anyone else, but he feels comfortable enough to be vulnerable around her, & I think that's beautiful~
ZOOTOPIA 2 SPOILERS AHEAD: . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
lord have mercy i will never yearn as hard as nick does for judy
2016:
"You know you love me." "Do I know that? Yes. Yes, I do."
2025:
ZOOTOPIA 2 (2025): "Love you, partner."
Full circle moment! They love each other! In Zootopia 3, we'll probably get to hear them say it again! Only this time, they'll mean it ~
First, this moment…
Now, that scene…
Like HELP💔 These two films had NO business making me bawl like a baby😭😭😭
ZOOTOPIA 2 SPOILER: They're so Rapunzel/Eugene coded!
If I had a nickel for every time a minor bitchy character that pissed me off at first dropped an unhinged banger of a song on her way to becoming a major villain and instantly made me ready to support all her wrongs, I’d have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
As a fan of both Descendants and Hazbin Hotel, I’ve been seeing certain similarities between “Queen of Mean” and “Gravity” lately.
I mean, in both cases the characters (Audrey/Lute) reach the point where they lose both those whom they loved (Ben/Adam) and their reputation/status, spiralling into the madness and swearing vengeance on those whom they believe wronged them.
Ngl, I never liked either Audrey or Lute when they were first introduced. One was an entitled high school brat, the second was a self-righteous genocidal psycho. Both were unlikeable and very easy to dislike/despise. BUT the moment their solos dropped, I instantly became fascinated with them.
Idk why, maybe because these songs always tend to bring certain degree of depth to the characters that used to seem one-dimensional, and then suddenly become so much more interesting. They both find themselves at their lowest, they’re vulnerable, which allows for a good character development and a more complex motivation for their villainy.
Not mention, both their songs are FIRE! I had “Queen of Mean” living rent-free in my head all the way throughout 2019-2020, and now I’m getting just as obsessed with “Gravity”❤️🔥
Happy 15th anniversary, Tangled! (11. 24. 2010.) ✿ Go, live your dream.
