Once he saved you he decided to take you to a nearby Healing Place for demon slayers [Forgot what they're called lmao]

But he'd have you stay with him in the same room, the doctors bringing Genya some child close and toys

Specifically a little Duckling Plushie for you

Once he and you are all healed, he tried to take you back to the village he thought you were from

But once he got there, and asked around, he figured out that you didn't live there

Or you didn't have any family that lived there

So deciding to take you to the orphanage, Genya began to make his way toward it

But the thing was

Once he got there

He wasn't able to get you off of his leg

Resulting in him just taking you back to the compound, specifically the Butterfly Estate so he could get some help

And on the way back, he had noticed you clinging to him and trying to copy his movements

It warmed his heart so much-

Genya let out a sigh, staring down at your pouting form. "Y/n, I have to go on this mission."

"NO!"

Pinching the bridge of his nose, he muttered something under his breath. Reaching down, he grabbed the back of your shirt and tried to pry you off of his leg.

"Y/n I'm going to be late!"

Tears welled up in your eyes as you clung to his leg tighter.

It was a normal day, except that you get to spend special time with your boyfriend, Genya. You spend time together, but this time is different.

You were getting ready as you hear a knock on your door.

"A second!"

You said as you were dashing while putting your earrings and grabbing your basket [picnic basket].

You opened the door to see Genya standing with some flowers, you pulled a grin on your face while greeting him.

"You didn't have to, you know?"

You said while taking the flowers with your left hand, while your other hand tucked your hair behind your ear. Genya was blushing, you hardly did any thing..! You thought about being playful, so you gave him a small kiss on his nose.

"Why aren't you saying anything? Did you hate it? Fine I won't do it again."

You said in a playful tone as you played with your hair.

"I-I didn't say I didn't l-like it..!"

Genya said while avoiding eye contact with you. You find it cute as he turned into a hot tomato.

"I bought you those flowers because I thought you would like them."

He said while trying to hide that he is blushing. But you noticed and just smiled at him.

"I see, you really have a good taste! I like them! Thanks!"

You said. As you both started walking to your destination, aka the Lake, You noticed that Genya was not looking at you. You always knew he was shy, at first you saw him as mean, but now it is completely different, he is an absolute baby.

Mysteriously, your hand touched, you didn't move your hand, but Genya tried to change its direction, but you grabbed his hand back.

He didn't budge.

He kept your hand were you placed it. He looked you straight in the eye, and then turned his face.

You know it mad him happy that someone wants them to stay around. And you are more happy it's you.

As you both walk, he stopped in front an ice cream stand, and asked you if you want some.

"So, um, want some ice cream? It's really a chance you know."

"Yeah I'd love too!" You held his hand with both of your hands, they were so tiny compared to his.

Some time passed until you got your order, and continued walking.

"Can I hold your hand?"

You asked while looking at him with puppy eyes, you know he won't say no, but why not? At least ask cutely. Act. Like. The. Gorgeous. Person. You. Are. (Or i'll hunt you at night<3)

"Yeah, but the ice creams.."

You never thought about that didn't you?

You just node while he finally informs you you arrived at your destination.

"So we are here babe."

He said, it was unusual, you liked how tried calling you names instead of your boring original normal ordinary what ever real so daily used that I will never call you by it name.

It's your time to blush now.

While you both were sitting up your picnic area, Genya accidentally let go of his ice cream, and it spilled across the floor.

"Shoot. It was my favorite!"

He said as he placed his hand on the back of his head.

"At least yours is still safe."

He continued. You had thoughts, but were not sure to say it or keep it for your self. You thought about feeding him from your ice cream, but what if he was too shy? Will he think its disgusting?

"Y/n?"

"Yes?"

"Are you listening?"

"Can you repeat?"

"I will go buy a new one."

"No need, let me f-feed you from mine."

You looked down with embarrassment, but he nodes slightly. As you felt like you flew to the moon and back again.

After you settled on a position, he waited for you. You gave him a spoonful of ice cream. You watched with all your attention, he looks cute.

"Come on darling, open your mouth, I want to take care of you this time!"

He opened his mouth slightly, but enough for it to enter his mouth. You tucked the ice cream aside as you took a plate of sushi and rice.

"Look! I made you something, I hope you like it!"

He took the plate from your hand, you took yours. You both ate until you were full, but you noticed that there is some left overs in his lips. You felt the urge to remove it.

"Honey? There is some rice on your lips. Lemme take care of them!"

You took a tissue from your pocket and wipped his lips. You could fell his embarrassment, but you loved him.

Some time later, Dawn was near, he felt like you should stay closer to him since you both liked it.

"C-can I come closer?"

You asked, but you were embarrassed this time.

"You don't have to ask you know."

He smiled as you leaned closer to him, as he covered both of you with his jacket. You both watched as the sun disappeared. You got him wondering how he got so lucky.

a/n: i really enjoy inosuke. when i first started watching the series, i was enjoying it and everything, but inosuke's introduction was where i felt like i went from casually enjoying the series to knowing i was gonna become obsessed with it. and after i finished reading the manga, i love genya a lot. he's so precious and i thought it would be fun to write a character like him into a scenario like this. enjoy~

TANJIRO KAMADO

Having a crush on Tanjiro is very easy because he’s a very kind and likable person, who would easily open up to you as a dear friend.

Tanjiro is definitely oblivious to your feelings towards him at first. Because he's oblivious to his own feelings. He likes you, a lot. But, he likes a lot of people, almost everyone in fact. It takes him a while to figure out that he likes you in a romantic way before he understands how you feel.

“I like you, Tanjiro,” you confess.

He smiles, widely. It’s nice to know his friend who he cares so deeply about also holds him in high regard. “I like you too, (Y/N).”

And in your mind he just returned your feelings, and so you embrace him. Tanjiro hugs you back, thinking, aw this is nice.

Then you pulled back to give him a peck on the lips.

Tanjiro’s eyes widened and his entire body went stiff. Friends don’t kiss each other on the mouth, he thinks. The only people he had ever seen kiss on the mouth before were his mother and father.

Finally, he got a clue. You didn’t like him as a friend, you like liked him, the way his mother and father loved one another. That was the unique feeling he had felt towards you and that you felt towards him. 

Then he kisses you back, leaving you none the wiser.

Two years into your relationship is when you learnt that Tanjiro had basically started dating you by accident.

INOSUKE HASHIBIRA

Do not expect this wild man to figure out you are crushing on him.

He can sense that you behave differently around him than others like your heart rate is elevated, and you appear more flushed. But he would assume you are intimidated by the King of the Mountains.

If you’re crushing on Inosuke, the best way to get his attention and, ideally, earn his affection is to prove to him that you are a strong person. Inosuke is attracted to strong people, whether that’s being physically strong or even just having a strong personality.

Also, feeding him. Kinda like a stray dog.

When you finally get the courage to confess to him and say, “I like you”. He just kinda stares at you, waiting for you to give him your news.

Like, he already knew you liked him. Of course, you did. He’s great.

When he tells Zenitsu and Tanjiro about it, the former freaks out at how stupid Inosuke is. Tanjiro explains that you like him in a romantic way, and suddenly the little wheels in Inosuke’s head finally turn.

Everything Inosuke probably knows about courting a mate comes from observing animals in the mountains. So, he probably brings you some berries and nuts he foraged. And, like, a dead squirrel. 

He picked a fight with Tanjiro and Zenitsu right in front of you to show you that he could give you the strongest children.

Eventually, you realize that this is Inosuke’s way of telling you that he returns your feelings. This is great because, at first, you were heartbroken that he rejected your confession. Then you were profoundly confused.

For the rest of the day, Inosuke walks around with you with his chest puffed out, loudly marking his territory so everyone knows you're his.

GENYA SHINAZUGAWA

Your crush began when you realized that beneath his tough and aggressive appearing exterior, he’s actually quite soft and kind.

Unfortunately, trying to get closer to Genya is very difficult.

Anytime you try to talk to Genya, his brain stops functioning. All he can think is “(Y/N) is talking to me, she looks so cute and smells so nice. Wait, what is she saying? Oh no! I wasn’t listening! Wait, she’s looking at me! She’s waiting for a response! She has such pretty eyes-”

From your perspective, he’s just standing there with flushed cheeks barely getting mumbles out as he tries to hide away.

Genya’s mutual crush on you is evident to everyone on planet earth, actually. He lacks the ability to be subtle about it. 

And unless you’re as dense as a doorknob, you realize it too.

Or you don’t and Gyomei tells you, so that you can unburden Genya by either returning his feelings or rejecting them (Gyomei is a lowkey shipper, he always knows who's crushing on who and he’s never wrong).

You decide to confess because you realize that if you don’t, Genya might never be able to do so. Bby boy can fight demons daily but can barely say a complete sentence in your presence. You need to take the first step.

When you ask to speak with him, he freezes again and starts mumbling, and you decide to just push forward with your confession.

“I like you, Genya.”

Excuse me? What did you say? It’s already so hard for Genya to properly focus when you are standing so close to him, but he swore that you said that you “liked” him? Which doesn’t seem possible.

“Y-you do?” He asked, his voice was so quiet and unsure.

You nod, excitedly. The corners of Genya’s mouth quirk up into a shy smile, he can’t believe a cute, incredible, and kind girl likes him. He turns deep red and just kinda nods, “yeah.”

If you hug him, he may die of happiness.

Even from across the hallway, you could hear the distinct echo of children’s laughter, joined by an older, more masculine high pitched voice. The shoji door was not completely slid shut.

Peering inside from behind the door, you spotted Zenitsu seated cross-legged on the floor. His hands were extended upwards where Sumi, Kiyo and Naho were busy painting God-knows-what on them, perched on a twin-sized bed. Before you made your presence known, his head snapped towards yours and his eyes widened. As usual, his cheeks took on a red tinge. “[Name]-channn!” He chanted, instinctively snatching his hand away from Sumi, who uttered an indignant hey! and waving it at you. You could see that the little flower she’d been painting on it had been smudged.

“What’s going on?” You mused, joining Zenitsu on the floor. He fumbled with his words so much Naho had to pipe in.

“We’re painting Zenitsu-san! He makes a good canvas. Would you like to join him?”

“Oh, sure, why not?” You couldn’t really say not their imploring faces. There was a rustle of cloth coming from next to you and looking to your left, you saw Zenitsu hastily pull down the long sleeve of the patient chemise which had been bunched up. You glimpsed a couple of Kanji characters before they were no longer visible.

“Why did you do that?” Sumi whined. “The writing will be ruined!” All along you saw Zenitsu frantically waving his arms at her and shaking his head vigorously.

“What writing?” You inclined your head, looking at Zenitsu who had beads of sweat shining on his forehead. At the same time, Shinobu’s sing-song voice was heard from down the hallway, calling the three girls and they made a quick show of excusing themselves and scurrying out of the room.

“What writing?” You repeated. Zenitsu fiddled with his fingers for a bit.

“I-i’m not a creep.” He murmured.

“No, you aren’t.” You agreed, bewildered. He extended his arm towards you and rolled up his sleeves. The words were indeed smudged and blurry, but you made out the clumsy spelling of your name.

tanjiro encouraged zenitsu to ask you to be his valentines. zenitsu hid behind tanjiro as you walked out the estate. you walked towards tanjiro and noticed zenitsu behind him hiding with blush across his cheeks.

“Hey zen! I was winding if we can talk? If you have a second of course.”

you asked with a huge smile on your face, you really liked him and wanted to ask him to be your valentines, but in private of course cause of the embarrassment you would have if he turned you down.

tanjiro moved out of the way and zenitsu’s face was giving off the vibe of him saying ‘what the hell man?!’ zen looked over at you while his face still red and full of blush and embarrassment.

“Uh- yeah sure, ok.”

he said quick and fast but in a low tone of voice. you were blushing and tanjiro knew that you liked him but never told him because it wasn’t his news to tell, so he let us play out until valentines. tanjiro always knew you were gonna ask him eventually, you were actually the first girl zenitsu couldn’t be bold around, someone he actually liked and didn’t just want to marry you at first sight. he wanted to get to know you little by little, he found it more fun that way.

you grabbed his hand and took him to the garden of the estate, you took your flower crown you made him, and placed it on his head gently. he was blushing but a little confused z

“I made that for you, hope you like it.”

“Yeah I do, it’s really pretty. Thanks Y/n.”

he said while smiling at you, made your stomach twist and turn.

“So Zen?”

you earned his attention with those words, he looked at you and tilted his head in confusion.

“I really like you, and I want to know if you’ll be my valentine?”

you finally spoke out, he was shocked as he was oblivious to your liking towards him.

you giggled and playfully punch his arm, he pretended as it actually hurt him and you leaned in to kiss his cheek. he was blushing and you took him by the hand.

“Where are we going?”

“I’m going to buy you a box of chocolates and a rose bouquet!”

you said in a cheerful tone. he then stopped and you gave him a confused look.
