I recently started to drink monster instead of pop for caffeine and holy fuck is there a difference and it’s the best ever. I can finally do shit instead of bedrotting

I WANNA PLAY MORE DND SO BAD.

We ended the last session with the party splitting in half bc character drama. So basically we encountered a group of probably death cultists in the woods and I had the genius plan to wander into their camp pretending to be a lost girl looking for directions back to town and snoop a little bit for more info and this worked really well until I got too much info and they decided they had to kill me. Combat started and I got knocked out immediately bc level 2 character surrounded by cultists will do that but eventually the rest of the party saved me and I was up again. They also knocked out the leader of these cultists to question instead of killing them.

My cleric was not very happy to have been knocked out super early, and also pissed about the fact that these cultists tried to kill her for no good reason and obviously attempted to immediately brutally murder the surviving cultist, and our dwarf sorcerer cast sleep on her as a result and tried her up. When she woke up she cast command on our bardbarian to untie her and succeeded and then both of them had sleep casted on them again before she could succeed in murdering the cultist in her second attempt. This was immediately followed by our monk murdering the cultist instead in an attempt to make the party stop fighting which was mostly successful except for the sorcerer knocking him out after which was fine because I healed him.

My cleric immediately apologized to the bardbarian for using command on him and threatened the sorcerers life for using magic on her before leaving to make camp elsewhere wish our warlock and bardbarian which is when we ended the session!! I don’t wanna wait a week to continue, life is so unfair, woe is me, my life is truly the worst, etc, etc.

Anyway I hope someone finds this as entertaining as I did.

Love that Axel Greylark is 30 years old. That is not a “young man.” He is decrepit, ancient, probably knew Revan is youth, pushing middle age, decaying, primeval. Love that this grown man is treated by everyone like he’s a 22 year old straight out of college instead of a grown up.

I’m so excited for the next session of my dnd campaign because the twist villain (who I have made blatantly obviously is the villain) is going to get revealed and somehow none of my players have figured him out yet.

in a total leftfield char move ive gotten really into star wars extensed universe lore lately & now i really wanna experience the books. anyone have any recs for where to start? i recently thriftbooked the first book of the thrawn trilogy on a friend's rec but i wanted to ask here too^-^

I think they’re technically not extended universe but I can’t recommend the high republic books highly enough.

I think avatars of the distortion probably have really bad joint pain because I’m just hyper mobile and my joints are already at a minimum of uncomfortable most of the time so with their joints I can’t even imagine.
