I need some hugs from either Jesse, Hanzo, Gabe, or Jack. I'm feeling really depressed lately. 😭
Jesse gives warm hugs, as if he’s trying to cover your entire body with his own. He likes to tuck your face into his shoulder or throat, if only to aid in his smothering of love and care over you. If needed, he even pulls you close to him, cuddle with him, just so he can wrap his serape around you too and let you listen to the gentle rumble of his chest.
Hanzo holds you with the same intensity as he does anything else. Firm, calculated, making sure he does it right. Hugs aren’t exactly the most normal showings of affection for him, so he’s fighting the feeling of doing it correctly with the feeling of fear that he isn’t–he wants to comfort you, to show that he’s there. His arms wrap around your shoulders and his hands gently clasp against the nape of your neck, keeping you close, while he murmurs comforting little words under his breath into your ear.
Gabe is only describe as having powerful hugs. Somewhere between smothering and brief, he opts instead to show his care and affection through various other physical means, making sure that you’re cared for. He’s more likely to pick you up and take you to your room than merely hug you, murmuring something in brief Spanish about how you need to take care of yourself.
Jack gives hugs like a parent. Tight, warm, he holds you close, he presses the palm of his hand against the back of your head, making sure that you’re pressed up as tight against him as possible. He tries not to hug you so firmly with the mask on, opting to take it off and immediately hide his face in your hair, just so you can feel his lips move when he whispers that you’re going to be okay; everything is going to be okay.
