spike is queer coded in the complete way he leans into a disregard for gender and conformity and isn't afraid to embrace whatever that means and whoever he falls for is who he falls for.

angel is queer coded in that i am a repressed man that can't let loose with the non conformity unless the shackles of feelings towards conformity and conscience and what people think are taken off me but also i will lovingly engage with many queer things and ignore that they are queer - like my sense of dress or delight in men's views of me or the way certain men mean more to me than anything - and simply be the weird uncomfortable awkward man i am.

Angel confessing to Spike that he liked his poems is INTERESTING to me because how/where/when/why does Angel read any of Spike’s poetry?

Did William take any of his notebooks with him from home and Angelus discovered them? Did he tell his new vamp fam that he was a poet? Even recite anything to them? Did little fledgling William keep writing? (Seems most likely to me that he gave it up considering the devastating reception to it we saw in both Fool For Love and Lies My Parents Told Me especially but hey my man is nothing if not resilient)
