Update: it’s hard to keep this short, since so much has gone on since creating this accountability blog!
The latest though, last January, after stopping birth control pills, my OAS has increased like CRAZY. I really think it had to do with some sort of estrogen issue on top of mast cells, plus overloading my histamine bucket full of plant foods I was semi-allergic to.
Crazy times. I just remember there was one week were I was all into plants, pea protein, oat drinks, hummus, celery, carrots, peanut butter on a daily basis and it made my throat so swollen and shut that I couldn’t eat anything for 3 days. I lived on yogurt and ice pops and lost like 7lbs. Went to an allergist and they gave me a steroid pack which helped.
One year and a million dollars and new drs later, I found out that I am allergic to a TON of shit that I didn’t even know. SESAME being one of the top and shellfish. I was always allergic to soy so that wasn’t a new discovery. All my prick tests also showed grass, weeds + trees. Basically every plant cross reacting with my body when I eat it. I always had oral allergy syndrome with melons and kiwi since I was a kid and hazelnuts - now the list is just huge. After getting a gut health test there were some things I was lacking but my “gut wall” was 7x stronger than average so it makes you wonder about “leaky gut” and if allergies are manifested in other ways.
Still trying to deal with this and want to start sharing more about what I am eating and brands that I have found are the best to help others in this situation. I’m in a ton of fb groups with people who have similar issues also, their lists are as long as mine!
Queer people can't ignore BLM when signs from the LGBT rights movement could easily be used for BLM today.
We only have parades because we had riots.

My mom gave me this giant squash and I didn’t know what to do with it - so I pan sautéed some slices with avo and #everythingbutthebagel ❤️!! . . . #whole30eats #squashideas #gardenfresh #locallygrown

Lately, the energy is really heavy around this but that you are not alone. #itsokaynottobeokay
