my problem with aemond's sex vision isn't even that bro wants to fuck his mom, it's that i Knew That Already. having our last impression of their dynamic be the kiss adds a separate twisted danger to alicent's presence there; something rhaenyra didn't know when forcing her to go, something alicent is deeply aware of when planning to kill him. and when you say the quiet part SO out loud right before she gets there, it actually loses the tension for me, even though the vision portrays a heavier and potentially more threatening form of intimacy.
and more than that, it centers aemond in a story that should center alicent imo. "i had a vision where i fucked my mom and now she's here and hates my gf" is a far less interesting framing for me than "i'm alone in the haunted castle with my extremely unpredictable and dangerous son who kissed me the last time we spoke". idk i just dont think we needed to watch a vision of aemond and alicent having sex to understand the dynamic, and that leaving it less explicit and allowing it to stay in the weird relationship limbo that targaryens live in would have carried more weight and raised the stakes on aemonds unpredictability.
AND FURTHERMORE! fucking leave my girl alone!!!!!!!!
