Headcanon
I had this headcanon that after fifty years when Mr D finally completes his sentence and is called back to Olympus, Chiron also retires bc he has had enough of Olympian bs and so the gods turn Percy and Annabeth immortal to serve as the trainer and director at Camp Half-Blood.

Can we just appreciate how much Percy Jackson has grown over the years??
The first time I picked up The Lightening Thief, it was a book about a twelve year old boy who barely knew what he was doing and succeeded solely on good luck, his father’s blessings and his friends’ levelheadedness. Fast forward to The Trials of Apollo where the same boy kicked a hundred-foot-tall bronze automaton’s ass so good that even Apollo, the most self centred God (arguably), had to agree that it was impressive.
And the best part is that it didn't happen instantly. It wasn't like he trained for a couple of months and BAM! he could survive Tartrus. It happened slowly and gradually, over a series of ten books and we got to see it all.
Its the same freaking boy but he grew up. Our little boy grew up guys! :’)

Dates
I love the fact that Will and Nico can take dates all over the world. Nico shadow traveling them to China for Chinese food. Going to a festival in Sweden or to Australia for a picnic on the beach. Best of all, Nico taking Will to his favorite spots in Italy.
