Ghosts

Summary: In love and loss, it often comes back to family, and Team 7 had always been fated, hadn’t they?  Deny it as she may, Sakura finds her heart strung to them with an uncanny reverence and the weight of their ghosts.

Canon Pairings.  Focus is on Sasusaku.  Sakura-centric.

A/N: So… I don’t really know exactly where this is going.  And these are all drafts.  It’s half planned and half me watching it take life.  I just really wanted to write a piece that does the darkness that Sasuke goes through justice, and develops Sakura so that she she isn’t just another female martyr who was sentenced to put up with a man’s unresolved angst in the name of love.  While she does ultimately choose to be with Sasuke in this, it’s going to be a slow burn of them making peace with all they were and all they are.  This is a story about healing, and how it’s not always a clean, or pretty thing to look at.  

Also I haven’t gotten that far yet, (so far, all we’ve got is Sakura wanking it to Sasuke lmfao) but this piece will also inevitably have lots and lots of hot, consensual smutty sex.  Because c’mon, it’s me writing it.

Trigger Warning:  Lots and lots of triggers, read this baby if you love some cathartic dysphoria.  Rape.  Molestation.  Stalking.  Murder.  Body dismemberment.  Self Mutilation.  Panic Attacks.  Suicide attempts.  Suicide success.  Drug Abuse.  Referenced Child Abuse/Family Trauma.  Major PTSD (this beginnings of this fic pretty much rides on it.)  I could go on.  This series is angst central.
