Guys I've had this same idea for a American horror story fanfic for months. Idk if it's good or anyone would like it so imma just ramble a bit about it.
So like basically the love interest would be Micheal Langdon right? But the mc would be the best friend of his first love. This would be set before he went to the school and he was still awkward.
Micheal and MCs friend would be dating. One night they fuck and the friend would forget to take the after pill. She finds out she's pregnant and only tells mc, keeping it a secret from Michael.
She breaks it off with Micheal not telling him why. A month later the event for him to go to the school would happen.
When the friend gives birth she wants to put it up for adoption. Mc offers to take the baby and raise it as her own child. She had already talked to her guardian (she doesn't live with her bio parents and is living with someone who takes care of her) about it and they had agreed.
After adopting the baby the friend would break off her friendship with mc. She wasn't able to stand being around her child. Mc understood why and has no hard feeling against her.
A year later she starts getting powers and freaking out. She searchs online and sees the school for witches and wants to enrol but doesn't wish to leave her baby. She doesn't know what to do and talks to her guardian about it. The guardian understands and talks to the school for her. Explaining her situation.
Cordelia is conflicted at first but than takes her in, offering her a room for the two of them. While babies aren't allowed she makes an exception as she believes no witch should be alone.
Fast forward 3 years later and the baby is 4. The story pickes up again with the warlock school being invited to the witch school for Micheal.
The mc is with everyone when the time comes for the two schools to meet. She's holding her son as she sees Micheal and starts to internally panic.
She and Micheal meets eyes and it's obvious he doesn't recognize her. Perhaps it's because she looks different, or maybe she just wasnt important enough to remember. Whatever it was she was thankful.
At first MC never wants to tell him. But then she thought it over and realized it wouldn't be fair for him to not know. It would be cruel to keep his son from him. Keep in mind she knows nothing about him except from what her friend told her.
After the room situation is all sorted out and Micheal has his own room. The mc puts the child in her room and promises she'll be back soon.
She finds Micheal and asked to talk to him. At first he's confused as he doesn't remember her. But when she explains who she is he gets annoyed. He never wants to remember the past with her friend. She tells him she needs to tell him something.
He reluctantly accepts and she explains the whole situation. How MCs friend had gotten pregnant and that she now has the son.
He's obviously surprised and doesn't believe it at first. Some shit happens and she convinces him to at least meet the boy.
He does and they go into her room. For some reason it's like the boy already knew, like he had always known. Although MC wanted to be surprised, she wasn't. Her boy was always a strange child.
Some things happen and Micheal and her start to co-parent. At first it was only about the son but eventually he falls in love. It's the type where he falls first and harder situation.
Kinda hope to fit in some stuff about Micheal meeting Kyle and Zoe and freaking out. It was never touched on about how these two random people look exactly like his family members. I think it will be an interesting plotline. That is if I ever get to writing the fanfic in the first place.
But yeah that's kinda all I have planned out. Obviously I'm not a good writer and have never written a fanfic before so it's very wonky. But the idea is there at least 😭
