💢 So, I personally have Satan as a more lenient on SINNERS than HELLBORN because he finds them fascinating. I play loosey goosey with RELIGIOUS TEXTS and Hellaverse lore, so I have it be very important that Satan is also a corrupting force, alongside Lucifer. Like, you can't have one without the other, which is also why Satan is so bitter about Lucifer not doing his dang job, but ON TOPIC: part of Satan's influence is to pull people down into Hell. Now, since he's not splitting their atoms for eternity, he's observing them instead, occasionally rewarding them when they participate in their own patron Sin. Satan resents God for what he did to Lucifer, and thus prides himself on his many souls he can pull into Hell.
💢 They freak him out a little, of course, they're intense. But they're intensely fascinating, too. Imagine someone collecting figurines and gloating about them. He also makes a point to keep up to date about important humans. I like to think he's present, in some form, for temptations.
💢 Satan likes to watch them squirm, and he knows Lucifer resents them so much, but Satan can't hate them, for Wrathful is what he wants them to be. He just hates to be disrespected, but alas. Humans are like that.
💢 It's also why he's a bit gentler with Winners, too. He'd love to make them Fallen, but he would never get there by forcing it.. after all, the best way to open one's heart to Hell is to let the Heavenly Father push them away.
💢 I will say here that I'm not fully following whatever Vivzie has set up for the Sins, at least in terms of if they can hurt Sinners. I know Lucifer can't intentionally hurt them, but I'm going to say that for Satan, he can—he can't KILL them, though.
💢 He is able to inflict wounds that last much longer than ones Sinners inflict on one another, and rather than healing overnight, it's something that would heal over an agonizing period of a week, maybe two, depending on severity.
💢 I just think if Satan is as important as Lucifer, and with the AS ABOVE SO BELOW thing, he kind of needs to be able to be a threat in Hell. Lucifer was punished by Heaven, Satan was already down here, just not powerful yet.
💢 Like Lucifer, Satan can also harm angels, but knows their weakness to angelic weaponry is necessary for their demise. I feel like getting bitten in half by Satan may not kill an angel, it would Fucking Suck™ to be that angel, and they'd probably be begging for death.
