Primordial stained glass, 2024

This was my last piece i made before the summer break, most complicated I've made too.

I started with the digital project and the printout:

Then I went ahead and picked out the specific pieces we had at the workshop. Cut all of them out.

The small eye pieces were the most challenging, yellow and orange glass having mind of its own. Once that was done it was time to grind, wash and wrap in foil.

And with solidering and patina it was done. I don't think the first photo gives the idea of how beefy that guy is.

I'm pretty proud how it came out overall.
