I really think Megatron as a selfish person to be honest, like he have these guilt that are haunting him and the faces he regretted— Those feeling never leave him alone and yet he continue

He push people who gotten in his way like Starscream, yes— He wanted to end slavery of dangerous mining and classism (maybe like that?), but the action he done is wrong

I think the longer he rule the longer it corrupted his mind to be getting even more power, and that is the reason he wanted to rule over the galaxy— Or he's just purely evil as he is

Maybe he's not so selfish of wanting everything to himself, but it didnt stop his desire of wanting to conquer everything..

Maybe if he look back at his path he would realizes what he had done, but cmon— Its Megatron, he never look back at the problems he cause himself or idk
