learning how to make homemade items as a devotion to my ancestors is something i’ll never forget.

not only did i develop patience and creativity skills, but i realised how much soul they put into making me something as simple as a scarf.

how much preparation and dedication it takes just to get to the starting line. how many triumphs and tears you go through figuring everything out. how happy and proud you feel when you see the final result and you release all that hard work finally paid off.

the whole process didn’t just help me personalise my practice. it helped me be grateful for the few hand made items i have from my family members. and made me proud to be the one carrying on that tradition for generations to come <3
