Seeing people still giving my fics kudos and liking my posts despite barely updating has helped me regain some confidence and the thought that I'm still valued somewhere. I appreciate everyone who has sent me messages, discussions, or every little sign of acknowledgement (yes, even from ex-mutuals). Thank you.

I'm rarely active on Tumblr unless it's to post art or catch up with mutuals; otherwise, there's really not much for me to do here. I'm a lot more active on Twitter and Instagram, and even then, I'm still not as active as I wanted to (no, I can NOT "read fic on company time" 💔). Feel free to drop a message nonetheless :D

Also, I hope my country (Thailand) and our neighbour (Cambodia) choose peace as soon as possible. Enough citizens from both sides have been killed already. None of us want war—only the power-hungry officials and propagandists. 🇹🇭🕊🇰🇭

Dear Terunosuke,

25 years have passed since you’re gone. I brought you some lilies. Though there still isn’t an official grave, your classmates are considerate enough to mark a small one on the agricultural area and keep it neat. Isn’t it wonderful? Thinking about it, I should have also brought you some hydrangeas, since this year’s rainy season lasted a little longer than usual.

I normally never travel around this time of the year, but I felt lucky somehow, so I’m taking three days off to Hokkaido. I know that Morioh does have its own sunflowers, but I’m seeing if the ones in Hokkaido are really as beautiful as people say. Could it be as vibrant as the sky in Morioh, I wonder?

You probably don’t remember it, but you used to really like insects. As in, you like to hold them to scare other kids. Your mother would tell you to stop, but you would only smile and laugh, asking her if the insects are pretty.

When you entered middle school, though, you suddenly avoided insects. At first I thought you grew out of them, but viewing the memory again, the sudden change was almost off-putting. I wondered if something at school made you do it. I’m sorry for not being there for you.

If you’re still out there, reading this and wanting to tell me, feel free to come back. My hearing hasn’t been as well lately, but I would like to hear you again. Watching the same videos and listening to the same recordings gets lonely after a while.

But if that wish cannot come true, then let us meet again at the rainbow village, where lost voices are heard and the stars sing in unison.
