I noticed that the first thing people do while insulting a girl is pointing out her physical flaws. Yesterday I was walking through town and I witnessed a fight between two teenage girls. They looked about my age. 16 or maybe even 17. I’m not exactly sure what the argument was about but one of them screamed at the other, “You’re such a fat and ugly bitch, Julia. Don’t fucking talk to me ever again!” Not only was the other girl extremely beautiful but also everything but fat. So why would her ‘friend’ make up lies and insult her like that even though Julia’s looks clearly weren’t even the reason of the argument? Because it hurts way more to be called ugly or fat. Do you see what our society has become? We’re living in a world where our looks are more important than our intelligence, creativity or our ability to make others smile. More important than being kind, funny, caring, loving and just a good person. And that’s just wrong! Honestly, I’d rather be fat than stupid. If I had to decide between a pretty face or a pretty heart, I’d choose the latter because you can’t be pretty when you have an ugly soul. If you really want to insult me call me mean, dumb, bad person, selfish, boring or self-centered. But don’t be pathetic and insult someone for what they can’t and shouldn’t change about themselves. Their looks. In my opinion all of you are beautiful on the outside but most importantly on the inside. Take care, guys. I love you
