so the premise in general is pretty simple, it's pretty much just my take on a VSMP college au. the events of the series translated into college shenanigans.

and there are no vampires, so, obviously it will be a lot more tame since there won't be a direct allegory or anything to replace vampirism. there will be fists flying, a bit of blood and getting beat up, some drama and whatnot, but Scott isn't "evil" and Owen doesn't kill anyone, and nobody dies :'D not even Avid, sorry guys... they might get expelled tho, or something

in terms of roommates, everyone has the same roommates as in the series. Scott and Shelby, Pyro and Apo, Legundo and nobody etc. Scotts moving to the castle will probably be translated into Scott hating his tiny crappy dorm and moving into a fraternity/sorority or something with Shelby and drags Pyro and Owen along

bloodloathing definitely isn't obvious as such in this universe, kinda like in the series, their perfect enemy stuff is overshadowed by the fact they barely talk to each other and have far more stuff going on with different people. Legs has a situation-ship with Owen that ends in him looking like he lost a fight with a cat, Scott has aroace Pyro dependant on him and desperate for approval and everyone assumes it's a crush? Avid is his usual hysterical self.

bloodloathing doesn't really move forward until what would be the series finale and after, where Scott will have learnt empathy? and growth? just a little and mostly because of Shelby because they are very dear to me and there is no aviscott in this. which is when i'm hypothetically drawing from most in the timeline, because yaoi. :3

bloodloathing has a problematic "oxygen needed for kissing" gap because Scott doesn't need to breathe but the doc definitely has less lung capacity as a older man so there's a non zero chance they've kissed and legs just faints from oxygen deprivation because he wanted to keep kissing Scott without stopping so bad. yes he is a licensed medical professional. It's okay Scott catches him every time
