Beauty Killer Palette
Where to buy:
Jeffree Star Cosmetics
Jeffree Star Cosmetics was launched in 2014 but has already made a huge impact in the beauty world. The company started with their velour liquid lipsticks but has since moved on to Skin Frost and eyeshadow palettes. As of right now, only one eyeshadow palette, Beauty Killer, has been released. However, we can expect a new palette, Androgeny, later this fall.
Jeffree himself debuted his palette on his YouTube channel and I was anxious to get my hands on it from then. You get ten beautiful and unique shades in the palette. The pan sizes are huge! You really get a lot of product with this palette, which in itself makes it worth the $45.
The colors are so amazing. You get a bright, Barbie pink color (Star Powder), a lilac/muted purple shimmery shade (Princess), a medium purple shimmer shade (Violence), a gold shimmer shade (Rich Bitch), a matte, warm, tan color (Courtney), a glittery blue/green (Expensive), a purple-toned red with a hint of sparkle (Confession), a matte black (Vanity), an off white color (China White), and a black shade with hints of rainbow sparkles (the name is truly fitting- Black Rainbow). I don’t know if I have a favorite, I don’t think I can decide between the diverse shades.
You can create so many different eye looks with Jeffree’s palette, and I truly believe that everyone can find use for it. It has definitely encouraged me to stray from my natural looks. I have had a ton of fun playing with this palette, and I would recommend it to any makeup lover.
If all of this wasn’t enough to convince you, let me add that this palette(as well as Jeffree’s entire line) is vegan and cruelty-free!
As always, if you have any requests or questions, please feel free to let us know!

Coty Airspun Loose Face Powder
Where to purchase:
Walmart
Drugstore.com
Baking is something that took over the makeup world overnight. The act of pressing loose powder to certain areas of your face in order to give a matte highlighted look is something many people do every day with their makeup routines. I have tried a few different powders and watched many videos. The drugstore option I found in most beauty guru’s videos was the Coty Airspun powder. I decided to try it out for myself and picked it up at my local WalMart.
It is bigger than other loose powders I’ve tried, for instance, the NYX mineral powder has 8 grams, while the Coty Airspun powder has 65. You also get a powder puff, but I prefer to use my beauty blender, just because I feel like I can get more precise with my placement. The powder does have a scent, but it doesn’t bother me personally. The scent is sort of hard to define, as it is a bit powdery, but it has another smell that I can’t really place my finger on.
You can get this powder in different shades, but since I bake with it, I tend to reach for translucent. As I said, I only use it to bake, but you could definitely use it for an all over the face powder. It does have pretty good coverage, and it does have mattifying qualities as well.
I would recommend this product to you guys, it is super easy to use and by far the best loose powder I’ve ever used. It is also very cheap, which is a plus!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit
Where to purchase:
Sephora
Ulta
Anastasia Beverly Hills
Highlighting is something that the entire makeup community has been obsessed with as of late. Different brands are trying their hardest to release the newest and brightest highlighting products, and I think the cake goes to Anastasia Beverly Hills with their new Glow Kits.
I only have my hand on two as of right now, but I am positively itching to purchase the others. The two Glow Kits I have are Sundipped (the summer glow it) and Gleam, and I use one or the other every day. I can honestly say that these palettes have made me completely forget about my other highlighters! They are finely milled, so they don’t look cakey or make your skin texture more defined, something I noticed happens with the Becca highlighters. While we are comparing them to the Becca highlighters, let’s talk about price. The Becca brand highlighters are in the upper thirties for just one shade, while with the Glow Kits, you get four for nearly the same price. These retail at $40 each, which is actually an amazing price. When you break it down, it’s $10 for each shade.
The shades are also gorgeous! My favorite of the two I have is probably Sundipped, which features a pale gold (named Summer), and muted orange (Moonstone), a bronze shade, which would be perfect for people with darker skin tones (Bronzed), and a purple/gray shade, which is definitely my favorite, (Tourmaline). Gleam has a collection of beautiful colors as well. A pale white shade (Crushed Pearl), another orange/pink color (Starburst), and two similar bronzy colors (Hard Candy and Mimosa). Mimosa is lighter than Bronzed, and more of a caramel gold color, while Hard Candy is a tan color with hints of a purple/pink color. It is almost duo-chrome looking and absolutely gorgeous on the skin.
As I said before, I use these palettes every day that I wear makeup. I can’t wait for more palettes and for me to finally snag the last one. I would absolutely recommend this to everyone, and I do to all of my friends that ask for a good highlighter.
If you guys have any requests for any other reviews, please message us so we can get them out as soon as possible!
