I just learned an intro post is a thing? I guess? I have no idea how to use this app I downloaded it a few days ago for vsmp stuff gonna be so real.
Anyways heeyyy~ welcome~
My name is Izzi. Um. Idk what to put in this gonna be so real. I like a lot of stuff, and my current very big (might honestly be me biggest hyper fixation ever) hyper fixation is VSMP even though I'm like 8 MONTHS LATE TO IT 😭... I like other stuff too, but I think it'll be mostly vsmp that'll be relavent here. Unless I figure out how to use this app of course but then I can just edit this! Wait.. Can you edit stuff on Tumblr... Eh, if not I'll just make a new one lmao.
saw this post and then saw scott bitten by a vampire and thought it would be fun to be my warmup for the day
Legundo had been standing outside Scott's room for precisely fifteen minutes too long when he realized that the prince hadn't returned from his outing. Scott had insisted on going out alone and he had relented-even if he did worry more for the kingdom's sake when it came to the prince going outside when bored-but now he was starting to regret it. He had thought Scott could handle himself, but perhaps his faith had been misplaced. He had promised he would return soon, but there was no sign of him.
A strange noise came from inside his room and Legundo stiffened. His training momentarily kicked in (do not go inside the room without permission, do not be a bother, be silent) before his body remembered that the rules had gone to hell a while ago the minute his heart had decided to choose Scott. Quickly, he entered the room, keeping a hand on his sword in case there was danger.
He did not expect to see Scott crouched on the floor near the window like he had just fallen out of it. Scott's head snapped up and the knight could not shake the feeling that something was wrong. "Go back outside, Legs," He hissed, actually hissed, a sound that was impossible for human organs. Legundo resisted the urge to reach for his sword (more training, always being ready for danger, sword first, ask questions later) and instead took a step forward.
"Scott," He tried gently, far too used to dealing with the prince's difficulties. "Where have you been?" He hesitated, still unused to the fact that he could let his guard down around the other. "I've…been worried."
"Outside, gallivanting." Scott laughed, a strain clearly in his voice. He stumbled towards his dresser and started to dig through it.
"How did you get in here?" Legundo furrowed his brow.
"Window." He pointed to it without looking up like it somehow answered all his questions.
"The castle walls are high, there's no way you got in."
"Well, I am known for doing amazing things, aren't I?" Scott quipped as he snatched up a roll of bandages from a drawer. He staggered over to his full length mirror before cursing under his breath.
"It's late at night, you should've been back a hour ago." Legundo could feel frustration bubbling up in him. He had thought they were past this, past the deception and masks, past the annoying remarks. "Sco-my rose, please. I…I just want to help."
Scott paused at that, shoulders losing their tension. "You're not going to like it."
"I already don't." Scott huffed a laugh as he made his way over to Legundo.
"Just…help me cover it up." He tilted his head and the knight couldn't help but let out a gasp. Scott's neck was marred with a deep bite that bled into his attire. Legundo frowned deeply and took off his gauntlets, carefully bandaging up the wound.
"What…what the hell happened to you?"
Scott smiled wistfully at him and he could've sworn he saw the glint of fangs. "I've made a deal with the devil, I believe. Now, I hope you don't mind, but…I may need some of your blood."
Damn you can’t just be dropping peak in my inbox like this?? /silly
But also I am actually obsessed with this… strange little freaks they are. Only motivating me to expand on this idea more >:3
Bloodloathing royalty AU on my mind… Prince Scott and his personal knight Legundo
I have… a lot of thoughts regarding this idea and where it could go but I don’t wanna make this post too long lol. If you wanna hear me yap more tho please let me know, preferably in the askbox and I’ll try to get back to whatever you send in!
Scott’s the youngest heir to his kingdom’s throne, and not exactly happy about it, especially since he’s still expected to take part in his royal duties. Realistically he probably doesn’t get on with his parents very well, as while he’ll act proper and follow the basic royal protocol, he refuses to do much more than that since he doesn’t see the point. He’ll never be king anyway because of his two older sisters taking priority, and he’s already in his early 30’s. There’s a very low chance of him taking the throne.
His personal guards don’t tend to last for very long, a few months at most. Scott would rather do his own thing, alone, than be followed everywhere he goes by some irritating knight. Eventually, after he successfully drives yet another guard away from the job, he gets assigned a new one - Legundo.
Legs is a very stubborn man. He’s likely worked in the castle for years at this point, is a well respected knight known for his commitment and refusal to give in, and so his assignment to Scott is very purposeful. The reigning King and Queen and his superiors believe him to be the best man for the job, able to endure Scott’s bullshit and hold his ground.
As usual, when he’s given a new guard, Scott is not happy about it. He’s always trying to sneak away, annoy him, and fight back against his duty. But this is the first time someone hasn’t given in - Legs holds strong and is just as stubborn in his determination to protect Scott as Scott is to push him away and frustrate him enough to cause him to quit.
This only annoys him further, and he begins to hate him even more. Legundo is, likewise, frustrated with Scott, but he won’t let himself give up. He can’t give in too easily, and as annoyed with each other as they may get, neither will let themselves back down.
I can see this rivalry leading to some kind of altercation in which they’re overly close in proximity, and it stirs up some feelings in both of them. Feelings that were so buried by their frustrations with each other that neither noticed them until it was too late to eliminate them. And, very slowly over time, as the feelings persist, Scott starts to fight back against Legs less than he used to, and Legs is able to let go of some of his stoic exterior. It takes months (not including the early days of dislike), but they eventually begin to get along and bond, only deepening their feelings for each other.
At some point, though, despite their friendship, Legundo closes himself off again, and Scott wants to know why. It takes some fighting to dig up, but eventually he learns that the reason was because he was attempting to stifle his feelings for Scott. It’d gone too far, in his words, and he knew he had to end it, because they could never be together.
Scott refuses to accept this, and makes that very clear. He’s finally honest about his own feelings, and despite how much trouble it would get both of them in (and Legs’ being particularly concerned about them getting caught), they enter a secret relationship. Both of them know they have to be very careful, Legundo especially who is very tentative about the whole thing, but he’s fighting his fears in order to make Scott happy - and because he does genuinely really like him.

Some other thoughts - I do think the idea of Scott getting bitten by a vampire in this timeline would be fun. I also have Lizzie and Eloise in mind as his older sisters here (Lizzie eldest, Eloise middle) but I’m willing to take input on other people too! Even thoughts on those two and their involvement in the general story if you have anything
Owen takes her wrist and gently bites down, draining her and injecting his venom into her system. Once he's finished turning her, he straightens up and wipes his mouth clean.
It has just occurred to me, I don't actually know your name? I'm Owen.
"Thank you! To be honest I've wanted to be a vampire ever since I first heard about them. They were explained to me in some scare-story when I was younger, but it obviously didn't really work to scare me!"
"Based on the story I was told I think it's the whole, drinking human's blood without permission thing, but it seems a bit exaggerated if you ask me. Speaking of that's the one thing I'm not looking forward to, but I'll figure it out somehow! Got any tips for a fledgling?"
Human blood is by far the best, its the most nutritious and delicious, but animal blood works fine. You can siphon from another vampire, but unless it's your sire, it's going to taste awful and it just means they can enthrall you if they want to. Also storing blood in bottles is big and clever.
Another thing to note is we all have special abilities. There's the universal powers, turning into a bat, jumping really high and far, calling storms that sort of thing, but there's also powers not every vampire has. I don't know if it's a bloodline thing or an individual thing, but Scott's is he's unnaturally charming and mine is wings.
She quickly gets out a notepad and a pen to start writing down what Owen is saying
"Oooo I see, thank you! I'd heard most of it before, but I've also heard a lot of other stuff so it's been hard knowing fact from fiction. I've never heard about individuals having special powers though!"
Yeah, it's one of those things that make recording vampiric knowledge difficult for humans. Uhh you should probably know weaknesses as well.
The sun does hurt but we don't burst into flames and die immediately, we're just a lot weaker and get painful sunburn faster. Silver burns to touch if you're more powerful than level 1, but if you are level 1, you can pick it up. It's useful when you want to mess with paranoid humans. I've heard people think we can't cross running water, that's a lie. I think. To be honest I can't actually swim, I've just been walking across riverbeds. Stake through the heart hurts, but it won't actually kill you unless your level 1, whereas I'm pretty sure silver and holy weapons can't kill a vampire.
Yeah, I imagine the town's faces when they found out I was tunneling underneath stealing all their silver back when I was level 1 was priceless. Alas, I was in the castle when that happened. But once you drink enough blood to level up, you can't touch silver anymore. That's all I really know, but I think Scott knows more. Or at least, has a library with the information.
"Oh that's cleaver! I should do that at some point before I go up a level since I'm assuming you start at level 1"
She puts the notepad in her pocket and stands up again, dusting herself off. As she does she takes in her surroundings properly for the first time after being turned
"Wow that's a lot brighter. How did I not notice that right away..?"
Owen lands, and its obvious how different he is from the other bats. The other bats are all average size for a bat and black, whereas Owen is a lot smaller and a deep brown.
She tries to say the last bit quietly, but it was definitely still audible. She raises her other hand, wanting to pet the small bat in her hand, but stops herself before doing so
Owen debates it for a moment. On the one hand, that requires a lot of trust in someone he just recently met. On the other, he had asked Louis for the same level of trust and his sire had said yes
Yume puts down the bat on the rock she was sitting on earlier. She closes her eyes and takes a deep breath, losing the cheery expression on her face for a more focused one and closing her eyes.
"Okay you can do this.. Bat bat bat bat"
She whispers under her breath, and after a short moment she turns into a bat
