My heart is breaking for @taylorswift as I watch Miss Americana, I just don’t understand why some people feel entitled to their cruelty. I’m so proud of her for speaking out about her struggle with an eating disorder. That’s so hard, especially in the spotlight. Also, I realize how ridiculous I’ve looked gushing over her...but I’m good with it. And I’m good with it because her strength in a courtroom spoke and continues to speak life into a dark situation. Political opinions out or not, album of the year or not, awful tabloids or not, skinny or not, Easter eggs both understood and missed, new songs to last albums; her music has always been relatable & has pulled me through some pretty tough times. Still does. It’s hard for me to not to binge listen once I hear even one of her songs. I’ve been to at least one concert of every tour since fearless; those are and will always be some of the best nights of my life. I hope these days never end, may her music and her person always stay true to who she was created to be! Let’s just say, I’m proud to be a “Swiftie”.
