Ok but can we seriously talk about papyrus's connection to the knight because it's HEAVY omg
First of all we HAVE to address the elephant in the room the knight looks identical to papyrus in body shape
It's literally not a coincidence that doesn't make sense
Would like to add that it's pretty clear now kris IS the narrator which also implies that they do know sans and papyrus considering the dialogue options, might i add on a very personal level considering they make references to they're house in dialogue
Also the fact that in every single chapter there is at least 1 reference to him
Or the fact he casually name drops 2 darkners in undertale
Or the alarm clock dialogue that makes him look weirdly suspicious
I also find it strange how kris and the knights dark fountains constantly reference him down to weirdly specific details like the food he likes and the layout of his house which includes the spooky in between room nobody should know about.
Either the knight is papyrus working with some outside forces or the knight DEEPLY idolizes him to the extent that they would shape shift into a form that resembles him.
This isn't even half of the subtext btw it goes so much deeper than that.
Theres so much in fact if feels like toby is beating you in the head with a bone yelling at you to notice at every instance you get
Yeah so I don't doubt for a second he's important, thats like if Dess was never mentioned again and had no plot significance that's stupid it clearly means something.
