Sunday, May 17, we will (once again) be campaigning on Twitter for In the Flesh to be renewed.
Even if you aren’t a member of the fandom or have not seen the show, please come help out. It will only take a few minutes out of a single hour of your day, and this show means so much to so many people - It specifically addresses ableism, homophobia, systematic oppression, parental and medical abuse, dehumanization, slurs, and so much more, and features canon mentally ill and queer characters. It has literally saved lives. All we want is for it to finish telling the story that it began.
At 10 pm UK time (check below if this isn’t your timezone and you aren’t sure how to convert), either log in to a pre-existing Twitter account or make a Twitter account
Tweet using the hashtag #InTheFleshMustRise. Don’t use any other hashtags - It’s more likely for a tag to trend if only one is being used!
Tag @amazonevideouk and @netflixuk in your tweets. These two companies are our best options for getting In the Flesh renewed, and Amazon has even shown interest and complimented the size and persistence of the campaign and fandom.
Don’t just spam! Tags won’t trend if they’re just being spammed repeatedly. There needs to be some sort of content in your tweets; write what you love about the show, why you want another season, post fanart or edits, anything. Just don’t do nothing but post “#inthefleshmustrise” over and over!
Retweets count towards helping a tag trend, so be sure to be checking the tag and retweeting any good tweets you see about it as well!
Also, continue to sign and share these three petitions to help us get a third season!
Here is a timezone converter. Set the time to 22/10 pm and the location to London, UK and then beneath that put in your own location (or the closest to it that you can find). Seeing as I’m from California, I can tell you that 10 pm UK time is 2 pm west coast United States time, if that helps at all.
