if you are in your late 20's or early 30's you are finally beginning to experience a true sense of separation and alienation from youth culture and to natural identify more with other adults as your peers, and that's a normal part of being an adult and moving into that stage of your life, and you MUST recognize it as such and resist the ancient Joker's Trick that is the urge to jump to the conclusion that nothing has changed about you and it is instead the children that have gotten weirder.

As a metalworker by trade, my most gut-wrenching revelation was realizing that I could NEVER afford the cost of my own work. I am an artisan who could never afford their own work. Fuck, that hurts to say aloud. There are many experiences that have radicalized me within this society, but this... This is one of the most profoundly radicalizing ones...

And the fact that laborers should own the means of production is seen as radical is just... It speaks volumes of our society.

was listening to an npr story about adult loneliness and the difficulties behind making friends during adulthood and the researcher said that a mind boggling 12% of adults actually identify as having “no friends at all” and that loneliness is actually found to be a DIRECT cause of death, and is actually worse for your health than poor diet lack of exercise or smoking. that is why it is critical, internet lesbians, that we all be besties
