@aceocian - in regards to this post!
“look, kid –” the brunette remarks with no further hesitation, breathing heavily through her nostrils in annoyance. the older woman wasn’t in the mood for such childish antics. remaindering her of her lovely younger brother that she misses dearly. never really vocally expressing it because human beings are full of emotions and it’s not often lilith experiences it herself. one thing’s for sure, she isn’t one to fall for anything.
and he tried this before, somewhere along the lines of him predicting the future. oh! no, it wasn’t it. her hand was raised upon his own, pretty brown eyes from the male inspected pale skin that belonged to her. ‘if i told you, you’d find the love of your life soon - i could tell you more about it. ‘
again, she sighs. because she laughed at the idiotic remark coming from his lips when he first said that. she waited far too long to have someone sweep her off of her feet. she deceased and came back to life, same cycle all over again. how disappointing, musing silently to herself.
“i’m still holding it against you,” lilith responds. due to her denial of his continuous chains of lies he was prepared to inform her in a string of such natural chain of events; she really wasn’t fond of it. with a finger raised up, her index finger waves left to right a good four times before scolding him. “rather tell me when i’ll be dead soon so i can create a graveyard for myself to sleep in.”
not that, it would ever happen anytime soon. if he was more than willing to lead her to the path of her life in the upcoming years; wouldn’t that be interesting.
[ † ] — oh god. here it goes again.
they always say no at first. and also the next few times. and the ones after that, but the secret is to be consistent.
he’s staring at her, letting her speak-- vent. letting her annoyance out, waiting out the body language. the trick here, is to make them wait for your answer. it is to make them want your answer. he’s learned all of that in marketing for dummies, found in one of the dumpsters close to his tent. his father probably sent it to him as a divine message, when he was diving for jewelry.
“this bracelet--“ yes, the one he found in the trash a few days ago, “i had a dream of you wearing it.“ the trick here, is to never give your clients satisfaction. never reply to them before you get to sell your product. “i take it you don’t know what this truly means.“ and now he’s securing it around her wrist, careful not to touch her skin.
“well, it protects you.“ oh no, that sounded wrong. noah furrows his eyebrows, confusion consuming his face whole. “i mean--“ this was a first for him. “it’ll kill you as soon as you find your soulmate. cool, huh?“ okay, that should check out every of her wishes.
“that’s gonna be eighty bucks for the whole session, plus the bracelet.“ and then he nods at himself. “and since you’re so eager to die; for a low cost of ALL OF YOUR MONEY, you can be assured that i’ll be taking good care of your savings once you join my father.“ he points, using his foot, a wooden crucifix on the floor, next to a bunch of his own treasures ( or in other words-- trash ).
