"No, I get it, it's a weird question," Este admits with a scrunch of her nose.
"It's kinda like deja vu, you know? You don't know what's making you feel it, really. You just know you're feeling it."
At the mention of the cookies, Este's face lights up.
"I wish I had been a girl scout, god. Is it as fun as it looks? I would have made myself sick on thin mints, I wouldn't have been able to be trusted."
"it was and it wasn't. the trips were fun and you know selling season really was the most competitive time but there were boring parts." sadie's patches were always centered around being a leader or innovator. the one for selling the most boxes in one season was one that she was obsessed with for the longest time. but she never got one for being a team player or being group focused. "I'll be sure to get you a box next time i see them."
zero: share a pizza? zero: what kind of animal are you zero: it's whatever size you want zero: no, cinnamon just tastes like dirt zero: oh, you're the girl who has handing out her unwanted PR freebies that one time zero: the bartender who gets horny messages slipped to him on the back of napkins
savi: i need to know if i need to eat before or if it'll be enough savi: i want a large savi: i feel like this is just a you thing. because it does not taste like dirt. savi: the one and only. did you end up using it? or did you double it and give it to the next person? savi: ah yes. have you gotten any new messages.

A sip of a dark IPA hit Dina's throat, the warm tickle flowing down to her gut. Whenever Dina was not behind her anchor desk, you could almost always find her sitting in front of a bar top, salted peanuts on the counter, dimmed lights and televisions with games scattered around. In this familiar setting, Dina felt free to be herself while she cheered on her favorite sports teams. Tonight, she was rooting for the Kraken as they played against the Bruins. "Oh, come on! That was a total penalty," she shouted out loud when one of the ref's ignored Brad Marchand tripping Brandon Tanev. She shook her head as she looked over at the closest person to her, "what do you think? Do you think the Kraken should've gotten a power play?"
"considering the bruins are on the top of the standings this season, you know the refs are looking away every time Marchand does anything." savi replied with roll of her eyes. it seemed that boston sports followed her everywhere after her ex but no longer concerned her. "i don't know much else honestly. they're always talking about it in the office so that's the most i've picked up on.
zero: a more than generous one zero: i don't like cinnamon as a flavour zero: too aromatic zero: makes me sneeze zero: zero lawrence, bartender and occasional pokemon go master
savi: fair. but is this like a personal sized pizza? are we going to be sharing? what's the protocol here. savi: do you have a sensitive nose? like it's over stimulated easily savi: savi both. podcaster almost always a handful.
zero: my offer starts and ends at pizza zero: also i hate cinnamon zero: second also zero: who is this?
savi: what kind of offer is that? savi: do you not like cinnamon sugar? like cinnamon bites? or those cinnamon rolls from taco bell? savi: Savi Booth. who is this?
Tom raised an eyebrow, in all his years he'd been compared to a lot of things, but the protagonist in a Hilary Duff film? That was a new one, he decided already he didn't hate it. He'd always been a sucker for disney films anyways. "Yeah, pathetic, I know. It's just been a long time since I've been back…" Nearly a decade, but he felt that might age him out of relatability for the blonde, so he left that part out. "Why didn't I think of that…of course, everything's online." He laughed, pulling his phone from his pocket and shaking his head, "I swear sometimes I'm not firing on all cylindars." He teased, "But seriously, if I do manage to find her, I highly reccomend you check her out - she was always my favorite vendor here."
"I didn't say pathetic, you did." she pointed out with a smirk as she thanked the vendor and asked to be added to the mailing list with the hope of more pieces to add to her collection. "they have these things call Instagram now. probably easier too to look her up. but if she's as old as you're making her out to be, that possibility is a little lower." she teased back matching her words with a chuckle. "what makes her so special? or are you secretly pinning over her?" her eyes galnced down at her phone, illuminating her screensaver to look at the time. "if you don't find this lady is it going to crush you?"

Where: Pike Market Place
When: Mid-morning
Open to: Anyone !
This post was made using the beta editor.
It had been quite some time since Tom had been down to the market, he'd only been back in town a few months and he was still trying to get situated, but slowly, he was coming back to life, exploring places he'd always loved, and getting reacquainted with the city. He'd been wandering around the marketplace for a few hours, his dog on a lease, pulling him along as she happily continued with all the energy that a puppy - who was almost full grown now - always seemed to be full of. He'd been looking for something, or rather a someone who he'd always enjoyed visiting with - a vendor who seemed to be absent from the marketplace now and he had to stop, scratching his head as he questioned the patron nearby. "Hey...I'm looking for a vendor...she was an older lady who sold little handmade trinkets? Her name was...Mabel? Or maybe, Eunice....Susan? Hmm... she told great stories, talked about her pet bird a lot ...any idea where I might find her? Or..if she even has a booth around here anymore?" He asked, realizing that with so many vendors at the market - and growing every year - he was asking about a needle in a haystack, but he was determined if nothing else, "I'm not describing her very well...it's just been so long since I was last here..."
savi tended to avoid the market, the smell of seafood being so close to the vendor selling bacon was too much for her sense to ever get accustomed to. the only reason why she would ever venture out on such a busy day was due to one artist showing her artwork and savi just had to have it for her entryway. "looking so desperately but can't even remember her name, it's the epitome of a hilary duff movie." savi responded with a laugh as she finished paying off the painting. "i think they keep an updated list of vendors online. have you tried there? because it think you might be shit out of luck trying to find her in this mess."
His achievements were far from tiktok worthy and he'd past his opportunity for thirty under thirty, but he was impressed by the drive that radiated from the other. It was the kind of drive he wished his own younger brother could possess, but he'd long accepted that he'd all he could for the youngest Tandy and it was up to Thadd to do the rest. "No girlfriend, no wife. My sister might appreciate it. My mother would too. I think she's the kind of person who would appreciate any gift though. You really don't want it?"
"no wife and no girlfriend? how about a boyfriend?" she asked persistently with a smirk painted on her lips. "moms love random gifts like this. so yeah take it. i'm not gonna do anything with it but toss it. and in this new plant-friendly era that's a no no."

savi: can you bring me those cinnamon pull apart? savi: i think you texted the wrong number but the request still stands.
"Free you say?" Cemile eyed the merchandise with both her brows raised. She'd been given a lot of free things at her veterinarian practice, but they were mainly for the animals. Curious, she placed the product in her hand back down, and peered back up at the other. "You must be a big shot, huh?"
"i wouldn't say big shot, just well connected." she reasoned. it wasn't like she was changing the world rather she just had gotten noticed well enough by the right people. "please you'd be doing me a favor. my vanity cannot take another influx of item."
SAVI → MURPHY
Savi: Say hypothetically I lost my social security card how hard do you think it will take for me to get a new one. Savi: Do I really need one? @murphyaltman
"Oh, you don't know the half of it." Zero said, chuckling. "The things i've seen, the smut i've read written on the back of napkins..." His eyes widened with a sort of haunted disbelief. "It would give you nightmares." He added, shaking his head. "Damn, brand trips too? Maybe I should quit bartending and get into whatever it is you do. I'm always travelling, would be dope as hell to get to travel for work too."
"Oh really?" savi leaned in, interested yes but any information would be gold for content. "What's the worse one that you've seen?" her shoulders shrugged at the comment, "everyone thinks they have the next big podcast. you really just need a mic and be able to sell yourself." it was more than that, she knew the hard work her and her best friend had put into it. "what's your favorite place to travel?"
"What's it take to get something like that sent your way?" Not everyone received PR packages from the top dollar brands, but what did he know? "I don't know about it being expensive, but I'm not looking to change anything. I'm sure you'll find someone who wants all of that though, just not me."
"get a good instagram following is usually a must, maybe start up a tiktok. ooh be in the 30 under 30 from forbes was fun. got us a lot of traction too." she replied nonchalantly. it was hard work getting their podcast they started on a whim to where it was today but she had enjoyed the ride. "so you have no one to give it to? a mom? a sister? a girlfriend? no maybe a wife?"
Amused by the analogue, Fiona's still thinking it over, head tilted and staring at the glass but not really seeing it, when Savi mentions food. "Huh?" she says, blinking. "Oh...you mean like, soft pretzels? Pretty sure they've got those in the food court. Killer hamburgers too. You're gonna have to drag me out of this room by my hair, though."
"yeah i'm gonna need some food here soon." something that would make her stomach stop heaving and a hamburger would be hit or miss. "wouldn't it be tragic if they served fish sticks here?" Her eyes grew in size at her own thoughts before shaking them out. "can you at least point out which one is which?"
