An angry voice called out as the Rick got sedated and ready for surgery. Lambda was furious, he had no intention to perform the surgery on the other Rick. He had been working part-time for some time now because of his post-concussion syndrome, which had only been made worse after this very Rick had knocked him unconcious.

He was partly the reason why he was incapable of working full-time... And told to not perform surgeries in the first place. But today it apparently was an emergency, and no other surgeon could treat this Rick but... well, Lambda.

Angry muttering was filling the air as he got forced into the operation room, like how he was a pediatrician, and that they had been so keen on him not performing surgeries up until now... until they really needed him. And of course, he also threw several insults at the unconcious Rick on the operating table.

“You’re lucky I’m not puncturing your heart while at it....” He mumbled as he went to work on fixing up the mess before him. Once he was done, he’d make sure to add a little mark right below where the nasty scar would be when he finished up the operation, using the laser to add a “λ” for Lambda. The nurse-Ricks didn’t say anything about it, if anything they just laughed at how salty Lambda was about the whole thing.

This is just me making a quick statement that I don't rly do smut-threads on tumblr, and that my interest in getting in bed w other muses on my blogs is just not very high. Not just a text. Texts weren't the same thing. If he suddenly began texting everything and never called, it would be the first sign of something being off. But not contacting him at all... That was just not an option.

But could he really call him and sound like nothing was wrong.. Would it be lying if you act like things are fine? Does that count?

What the fuck was wrong with him? He was supposed to be his best friend. He always tried to be there for him no matter what, but now he felt like he was hiding from him. If he was going through something right now, he just wouldn't know, and he'd be of no help. That's not what friends do...

It all boiled down to him being scared. Scared of losing the friendship altogether. But if he didn't contact him, wouldn't he end up doing that anyway?

In the end he dialed his number, knowing there was no other way to do this.
