Anyway, it's grimming time (grims all over the place)
Context: Mason and Isaac are exes. They were a very cute and lovely gay couple that one day began turning bitter when Isaac was seemingly different. I'm still figuring things out in terms of character backstory business so i may find some things along the way. Be warned, i'm really stupid.
Also, Mason's fighting style makes use of the fists, he's basically the one that throws hands and uh idk how to explain it more. Isaac is a mix of Spiderman and Ultrakill, he has guns, a reliance on speed, and hooks for movement (the sound of his hooks would be reminiscent of the whiplash from Ultrakill because haha reference).
It starts with a swift punch from Mason, sending the wannabe hero Isaac far away from the rest.
Isaac rolls on the ground before quickly getting back on his feet just to immediately begin running away, launching hook after hook onto the surface of every building around to fly further away. Mason is now starting the pursuit. He is angry.
And when Isaac thought for one half of a second that he could get away for a breather, Mason somehow managed to jump just a bit higher, enough to reach him. Only to be kicked away once he got in range, and the fight truly starts when Isaac lets go to face him.
While Mason is actively trying to kill him with his own hands, or at the very least severely injure him into apologizing for everything that happened between them, Isaac just wants to get him to stop and calm down. For once in your life, calm down and think about it.

Isaac kicks, making him back off and let himself run away for a safer distance. He refuses to use his full arsenal, he can freely use punches and kicks and his hooks to fight him off but the guns are too much. The full arsenal is too much. He doesn't deserve it. He doesn't want to hurt him.
Please, please don't make me do this. Not to you, of all people.
but he doesn't care he just wants this rat bastard to apologize inbetween sobs for what he's done to him.
If he has to use the guns, he'll use them sparingly, shots fired few and far inbetween so as to avoid genuinely hurting him, possibly disabling him or worse, kill him.
I don't want to kill you please this is just not right please.
But Mason just takes every hit like a tank, not letting up for a second to take a deep breath. Every shot landed, he took it. Every piece of environment falling on top of him, he took it. Anything that aimed to stop him, he took it all the same. He doesn't care. He stopped caring a long time ago.

Isaac wants to talk. Mason wants to fight. They cannot come to an agreement. They can't do anything right.
He wants to fight then alright. He's gonna have to give EVERYTHING he's got. You wanted this.
The moment Mason goes in for a heavy swing–

Isaac has stopped holding back, now pulling out EVERY WEAPON AT HIS DISPOSAL, leaving every barrel of every gun dry, over and over again, hoping that it will knock some sense into him.
But he's still standing. He's still insisting. He's not stopping.
Now the fight truly starts.
Mason fights more like a desperate animal focused on winning, no coherent thought, only sheer rage and disdain for this one person he used to love. He's basing himself off of the hope that the hit lands and it hurts like a motherfucker and he wins. Whatever the cost, he has to win. He needs him to say he's sorry.
In contrast, Isaac fights with more experience. He has a whole hammerspace where the guns are stored, he's seen the ridiculous things he can do with them (if you play Ultrakill you'll get it) and how destructive they really get. He fights with a thought process turned sheer muscle memory and some smartass moves sprinkled in, mostly involving the environment. If he could, he'd avoid ruining random people's days just for a single fight, however.
So while Mason blocks, deflects, somewhat dodges, and even tanks whatever is thrown at him and attacks with not much thought, Isaac is always thinking and moving and everything he throws was once an obstacle of his own, now more of a powerful attack and a light show for those who like it.
They fight all the way onto scaling an entire building, tall enough to last up to the good part, Isaac jumps from wall to wall and hooks onto everything around to climb up while Mason follows, straight up grabbing onto the surface and sometimes even manages to run up the building just to reach him.
And the fight continues on until they set foot on the roof of the tall structure, and the thing that Isaac would come to regret the most would transpire soon.
While Mason goes for a final attempt at a killing blow, despite everything telling him otherwise, Isaac launches one more hook and grabs him and swings to throw him off the roof. (The part with the nutty fucking guitar solo that everyone and their pet turtle is mentally breaking down over)
Time slows down. Mason is made to look back at Isaac, his ex which he had forsaken all that time ago, now throwing him back into the void. Just like their last time face to face.
And Isaac realized. His helmet is quickly taken off and thrown away as he goes for a swing to catch him and save him.
Do you remember the good times, Mason? You hugged him so tight back then. Like you're doing now. Here he is after so long, saving your life.
What do you feel, Mason?
... i don't know anymore. conflicted. let me go i hate you. i'm sorry.
Mason's reaction is a sudden urge to fight back, now more like a scared animal being shown kindness after years of torment. They fall down from a safer height, and Mason's last move is to swing at the air, sometimes landing a weak hit, as if that will do anything. Isaac is stepping back, letting him vent out the remaining frustration as he blocks any successful, yet futile strikes.
He ends up falling down to his knees. Shedding tears. When was the last time you shed a tear?
... Sobbing. When was the last time you got to sob?
When was the last time you cried?
Did you ever say how you felt?
Are you doing okay?

"..."
"Okay... Do you want to talk now..?"
"..."
"... I'm sorry, okay? I'm sorry. That what you wanna hear? Cause I said it before. More than once. I'm still saying it, even when you're not around to hear it. Happy now?"

Doing this whole swap thing will be pretty hard because alot of stuff will change based on who I plan on swapping which will probably make for a nearly completely different story, AT LEAST in the context of the characters' backgrounds

And then she trips. Turns out, there was an exposed thick root in the ground and she, the utter fucking fool, just stepped on it without thinking. Thus falling down in front of an old tree on low ground.
