“Bahagia itu terletak pada redha. Redha dengan setiap perkara samada kita suka atau tidak. Redha, bilamana kita percaya tiada kebetulan atas apa yang terjadi. Semua yang berlaku atas kehendak Allah dan terselit hikmah. Itulah Islam. Sabar, redha dan ikhlas.”

Poems & Words
“What I need and what I want are two very different things.” -
Victoria Aveyard, Red Queen
“She struggled with her sadness, but tried to conceal it, to divide it into smaller and smaller parts and scatter these in places she thought no one would find them.”
— Nicole Krauss (via onlinecounsellingcollege)
You have been stuck in the same space for days.
Not just the same physical space, but the same mental space.
Doing nothing, achieving nothing.
You feel awful.
You hate yourself for wasting all this time given to you.
You could have read volumes of book.
You could have learned things, done things, changed things.
But you didn't, and you hate yourself for it.
Stop.
Please stop.
Play the Quran on your phone.
Just lie down and listen.
You get rewards for every single word, did you know?
Play that surah on loop.
Keep listening to it.
Again and again and again.
While you eat.
While you make yourself a cup of tea.
While you sketch down your thoughts in your sketchbook.
While you fall asleep.
Before you know it, you will know it by heart.
You'll be reciting new ayahs in your salah.
You'll feel happier than you thought was possible.
Listen to that lecture you saved on youtube.
Watch that playlist you kept off for lazier days.
Open that tafsir you've been wanting to read.
Read that book you bought with so much excitement.
Read a line. It will lead you to the next.
Just give it a chance.
Take your time, but give it a chance.
Let your mind learn new things.
The one who seeks knowledge is the luckiest of slaves.
His rank is higher than most.
Angels pray for him when he sleeps.
Everything in the heavens and the earth seeks forgiveness for him.
His rewards stretch beyond time and space.
The one who seeks knowledge
Is making the best use of time.
The one who seeks knowledge
Will never be let down.
The one who seeks knowledge
Is seeking Allah
And one who seeks Allah
Will find Him.
“Aku sebenarnya berperang dengan diriku sendiri. Jadi katakan bagaimana kamu berani menyandarkan hatimu pada diriku sedang aku sendiri takut dengan hatiku sendiri.”

So just cry 💞
“I am not to speak to you—I am to think of you when I sit alone, or wake at night alone, I am to wait—I do not doubt I am to meet you again, I am to see to it that I do not lose you.”
“If you live for people’s acceptance you will die from their rejection.”
— Lecrae
