If you can teach me how to bake then you’ll be doing the world a favor, especially my mother.
Wow, that was a bad idea.
Okay, I’m not gonna lie to you - it’s like, three hours long. But, trust me. It’s worth it. Look, because I care so much about exposing people to awesome movies, how about you let me watch it with you? That way, you’ll have my shoulders to sob on and I’ll be around to jump on you if you start to fall asleep on me.
Although, based on my observations of your physique, I don’t if you’d even feel me jumping on you. I’m like, crazy tiny.
My attention span is not three hours long, I’m sorry. But deal, we’ll try it and see what happens but be warned -- I’m a heavy sleeper.
PM: Hey how are you?

I’m just great, and yourself?

PM: I’m fine, but are you really okay?..
[PRIVATE] I will be. Thank you for asking.

Alright, it’s super tragic - but you’ve still got to watch it. I promise it’ll be worth the tears. It was easily one of the best movies I’ve ever seen. I just suggest you don’t try and go it alone like I did. If I had someone with me, I probably would have been able to keep it together.
I don’t think I can manage to get through it all, just speaking in honesty. I mean, it’s how long?

Hey, Blaine.

Wow, that was a bad idea.
Never - I repeat, never watch “Titanic” for the first time without anyone around to get their cuddle on with you. I’m still not okay and I watched it last night.
Today’s gonna be rough, ladies and gents.
I still can’t bring myself to watch it in full so I think I might have a bit of an idea of where you’re coming from.
Jesse used to make me cookies with full blown egg shell pieces in them.
But I promise you can learn.
... Oh no, that’s just sad.
“Yaas.”
Does that mean I can count on you to stop by?
Oh, of course. I’d say that I could help out but I’d end up making something explode, I’m sure.
So I totally hyped up on food at the carnival and spent my fair share in kisses. How is everyone recovering from such a long weekend? I need to work off all the cotton candy and make my booty work.
There is an empty hole in myself now that it’s not being filled with food from the carnival but that’ll go away. Eventually.
How are you faring?
Nope. Didn’t eat enough funnel cake last week. Tempted to make the cooking club do more fried dough desserts this coming meeting to make up for it.
Yes. There’s nothing else to say to that -- yes.
Everything Will Break || Chayer
Charlie froze at the single word that was uttered, before shaking his head and walking closer to the door, a dull ache in his chest when Sayer didn’t try and make him stay, though he knew it was best for both of them right now.
The Switch managed to make it down one flight of stairs, before completely breaking down, collapsing onto the floor and sobbing, trying to keep them muffled before he disturbed anyone else. He stayed there for hours on end, not really remembering or feeling anything. When he saw a bunch of guards on the floor he was on, Charlie stood up, surprised that his shaky legs seemed to hold him. He didn’t want to be caught or get in trouble but, at the same time, he knew he deserved it. He deserved to be hurt and punished for being a fucked up human being.
Though a part of him told him to leave. He couldn’t go back to his room, so empty and quiet – plus it meant passing the guards and getting into trouble anyway. No, instead, he turned and headed up the staircase once again, finding himself outside Sayer’s door, fist raised, ready to knock.
Would Sayer let him in? Would he even bother to answer if he knew it was Charlie on the other side? The brunette hoped that the Dominant hadn’t been too corrupted over him over the past ten months, that he’d still have Charlie, even if it was for one more night. They could just pretend for one more night that Charlie didn’t ruin everything. So he knocked, the door opened, and Charlie errupted into sobs once again, falling into his arms, choking out apologies and begging to stay for the night, really not being able to be without him.
What he did for the hours he wasn’t sure, but every time Sayer looked up time passed and quite frankly he didn’t remember anything about what he did. He thought, oh yes, he was thinking, and he was pacing, and he was thinking some more, and every so often he’d be in a spot he didn’t even recall going to. Yes, time passed, and it was just shortly after curfew after a particularly hard toss of his stomach when he realized Charlie didn’t come back in time did he growl. A sharp kick and a shove later and the easel in the corner of the room was sent to the floor, Sayer standing by the window in hopes of seeing the man run across the campus or something to tell him he was still around but finding nothing.
And then came the weakest knocks he had ever heard in his life, the sound barely heard through the buzzing in his head but he did and he was crossing the room in large strides and whipping open the door. Sayer had just enough time to reach out and pull, one hand tangled with Charlie’s and squeezing while the other remained on the back of his head, holding him to his chest and not even registering the words as he led him into the room, slow steps until he could close the door. Locking it, Sayer let his arms wrap tightly around the other and he sighed, relaxing into the warmth that he was glad was back and he stayed like that for a few moments, giving Charlie time to calm down enough that he could make his way to the bed with him, the blonde throwing up the covers so that he could slide in beside trembling man that was instantly reaching out for him again.
“You’re fine,” he mumbled into his hair, squeezing him close once more, “it’s okay, I promise.”
Everything Will Break || Chayer
Charlie knew somewhere in the back of his mind that Sayer wasn’t like his exes, that he would never do that to him. But even if it happens once, it’s enough to not trust so easily. But he had trusted Sayer – and he still did – and he knew getting angry over this was pathetic and pointless, but he was and there was nothing he could do to change that.
“It’s not just about you sleeping with him,” he whispered, angry tears welling in his eyes, threatening to fall any moment, “when I slept with him, I had just found out my girlfriend cheated on me. I was lonely and heartbroken and he was willing for anything. Whenever I see him now, I don’t let him near me if I can help it, because he’s just one mistake out of many. I let him know loud and clear that I’m unavailable, and that - that he can’t get away with talking about either us like we’re pieces of meat…” the tears had already started falling down his face, and his voice was beginning to break, and he could feel a sob rise in his throat. It hurt for him to continue, but he needed Sayer to know how badly it affected him.
“Not, not only does it bring me back to the most fucked up time in my life where I was treated as a mere…object for dirty old men to play with, but seeing you be talked to that way – seeing you just allow it and be your usual charming self. I–I can’t handle it, Say. It makes me physically sick.” His fists were balled in his handles, his knuckles bright white, his breathing ragged. He looked away from the blonde, a twisting feeling in his stomach and he knew he had just fucked up the best thing in his life. “I…I need to go. For a walk.” He suddenly found himself saying, his shaky legs heading for the door.
“Wait.”
The word came fast, and it came even before Sayer realized he had said it but Charlie needed to stay. He knew about his past, he did, he knew about his past love life and a lot of other things he wished the man hadn’t had to have gone through. With it all pieced together and connection were made, Sayer didn’t want him alone with the reminder lingering. However Charlie was adamant, and he was waving him off with the statement that he just needed to go and Sayer wasn’t going to make him stay. No, he let him go, and with a furrowed brow and a huff he was sitting down on the couch beside the laptop that he was slamming shut, running his hands up his face.
God it was going to be a long night.
Everything Will Break || Chayer
Charlie refrained from rolling his eyes. Of course that’d be the response. He knew all he had to do was just apologize – Franklin just pushed his buttons, he knew that he was nothing to this great thing that they had – but he couldn’t bring himself to do it. It was rare the Switch did the right thing. “You never thought to mention it whenever he flirts with you? Whenever you let him say those things to you? It would have been really nice to know, Say, that I had something to be worried about and feel threatened of!” That was a low blow, he knew it, of course Sayer wouldn’t do anything. But once the words were out of his mouth, it was too late to take them back.
Is that what he thought? Did Sayer give Charlie any reason to believe he’d end up straying because someone was playing around? That was -- ... Well, that was rather insulting, especially considering the man was nothing but beyond faithful, both physically and in his head. No, the thought of another man never even crossed his mind, and quite frankly it was never going to. But no, apparently Charlie had different ideas, and God damn it was frustrating.
“Because you have nothing to feel threatened by!” he said back in response, hands flying up in front of him. “I’ve slept with people, and you’ve slept with people too! Besides, are you forgetting that you’ve also slept with him?”

Charlie stood there, hands crossed, in the middle of Sayer’s suite, staring silently at the laptop on the sofa, before turning to face the blonde. A scowl hatched his features, and his eyes were completely blank as he stared down the Dominant. “You…you slept with him?” He whispered. Really, the Switch shouldn’t have been upset, he had also slept with the rat long before he and Sayer got together. But this didn’t seem real, Frankie wasn’t Sayer’s type, was he? “He was counted in the numbers you gave me, then? Why didn’t you tell me?”
They weren’t even together at the point, that much Sayer knew. In fact, he remembered distinctly it was at a point where them getting together seemed like it was never going to happen so of course he was going to explore. He had that right, and yet, even knowing that, when Charlie whirled around to look at him with the expression he was wearing Sayer could only feel immense guilt at the fact. At least that initially was the feeling, but at the realization that he shouldn’t feel guilty, he was becoming rather defensive.
“Because we were counting numbers, Charlie, we weren’t saying names.”

So are you telling me that you’ve got no taste then?
No. I have the most amazing guy in the world. He just doesn’t deserve you talking to or about him in that crude way.
Hey, Charlie, it’s fine. We’re just teasing, it’s okay.
You definitely have an ass, I’ve stared at it enough times to know. I mean, no I mean what I said.
Oh, uh, thanks! I’m incredibly flattered.
But just stay on my good side, yes? I think that sounds much more pleasant.
