Story behind the photoshoot: Kurt asked the photographer, Stephen Sweet, to take some pictures in front of the Liberty Theather an abandoned movie theather on the 42nd street, Manhattan.
Behind the band, there’s a marquee with the quote: “Men Don’t Protect You Anymore” designed by artist and feminist Jenny Holzer. This is one of her works of the ‘survival’ series, where she, thorough quotes tries to communicate and evoke a public’s reaction to sexual assault.
