Private treatment promises better and faster treatment for conditions. How unfair it is that people are waiting months for appointments just because they can’t afford to pay for it. Then becoming even less able to afford it due to the time off work, I appreciate everything the NHS do for us, especially with how I have stretched the resources, often. But living with chronic pain is the most soul destroying, and the doctors just keep saying sorry and sending me off with different pills and sending me for the same scans and the same vacant looks.

This life is unsustainable.
