Let me get this out of the way and offer my thoughts on the ship: I do not ship Wanderrose. I’m not a fan of the ship. The idea of Wanderlust and Jack Rose being implied half-brothers makes me incredibly weary of the ship—I know you could argue that it’s only “implied” which doesn’t mean it’s canon and how Just Dance could debunk this at any time, but what if whenever Just Dance finishes their main lore they actually make them being half-brothers canon? I don’t want to ship Wanderlust and Jack only just to find out I’ve been shipping half-brothers the whole time, and I’m sure many people feel the same way.
I know a lot of Just Dance fans were probably shipping them before they made them implied half-brothers—however, admittedly I still think it’s a little odd that when it was revealed that they’re implied half-brothers, people continued to ship them. It’s not like they implied that they were stepbrothers (it would still be weird to ship them if they were stepbrothers btw)—they’re implied HALF-brothers, meaning they’re blood-related in some way. They share a parent. I know some people’s logic in this fandom is that implied ≠ canon which I agree with to a point, but I still think it’s a little odd that people still continue to ship them even after they revealed Wanderlust and Jack Rose might be related.
Do I think the ship is a proship? If you think that, you’re entitled to that opinion. There’s a decently valid argument to be made on why it’s a proship—they’re implied to be half-brothers and if it’s ever confirmed that they’re half-brothers, people would have been shipping half-siblings this whole time, which is obviously incredibly disgusting.
Are you still allowed to ship Wanderrose? To each their own. While I’m not a fan of the ship personally, I won’t attack or harass anyone who ships Wanderrose because I’m not that type of person. I won’t spam “proship! proship! proship!” on anyone’s post or art about the ship and call them a proshipper for shipping Wanderlust and Jack together. I’m sure most of the people who ship Wanderrose do not support shipping siblings and only ship Wanderrose because their logic is implied ≠ canon. Most people will probably stop shipping it if it’s ever confirmed that they’re half-brothers. If Wanderlust and Jack Rose do ever get confirmed to be related, I’m not going to make a whole post laughing at all of the artists who have to delete all of their Wanderrose art or comment on older Wanderrose art berating them for shipping them because I’m not a dick. If it’s ever debunked that they’re siblings however then the Wanderrose shippers have nothing to worry about.
At the end of the day, if you’re going to ship Wanderrose, ship it. If you’re not going to ship Wanderrose, don’t ship it. I will continue to not ship it myself because I don’t want to feel like I’m walking on sharp knifes and glass any time I want to considering shipping it—however, if you ship Wanderrose, then more power to you. If Wanderlust and Jack Rose are ever confirmed to be half-brothers, I’m assuming most people will drop the ship because most people in this fandom are not proshippers. Nobody knows when this will be confirmed or debunked—Just Dance hasn’t (and maybe won’t) finish their main lore so the idea of Wanderlust and Jack Rose being half-brothers is still ambiguous. You’re allowed to ship it if you want, but I recommend for everybody to be cautious and take into consideration that Wanderlust and Jack Rose could be confirmed to be half-brothers at any time.

Lore: Byte was created to be a new idol in Dancity, a perfect one. Perfection in her singing, in her dance moves, in her looks. For a while, she was truly “perfect” in the scientist’s eyes. But then, Byte’s mechanical systems would begin to rust a bit from all the performing she constantly did. She would grow more tired sooner.
And though she voiced her desire for a break, the scientists always forced her to continue performing to keep her public image. Besides, she was created so that she wouldn’t need a break, unlike human performers.
One night, though, Byte had enough, and so, without the scientist’s knowing, she snuck onto social media and posted something quite simple.
“Taking a break, XOXO. ~Love Byte”
But immediately, the backlash started. The fans demanded that Byte perform and finish her ongoing tour. There were some supporting comments. But most were just angry. Byte realized that the people just wanted her to perform. They wouldn’t respect what she wanted and needed. And she wondered what would happen if she was human. Would the fans care more?
Byte then started noticing some other little things, such as how the scientists would show compassion and care for each other, unlike how they treated Byte. Her feelings of longing for humanity only grew as she realized these things.
She kept performing anyway, just to please the scientists. But behind the scenes, she was becoming bolder. She started to voice out her opinions, wants, and needs more, despite being ignored constantly.
Until one day, the scientists decide that Byte is no longer the “Perfect Idol”. And just like that, Love Byte is left behind. Byte is free.
Free from the scientists, at least. Now, she has to figure out what to do now that she has been sent out to Dancity to survive. Dodging crazy fans, finding shelter, learning to live, it’s all a constant struggle.
One day, while in a gym trying to figure out how to use some of the workout machines, Brezziana teaches her. And then, Byte experiences love for the first time. Love at first sight, to be more specific.
They talk a bit while at the gym, and then Brezziana just casually drops the bomb that she is a famous influencer.
Byte felt like she could connect to Brezziana more now that she knows that she also has experience with fame.
