List three or more people they would call out for during an emergency.Renji -- his lieutenant is a given. If anything happened to the captain, Renji would be the first person he'd think of. Order must be preserved no matter what.Ichigo -- as is canon, he values the substitute's strength and resolve incredibly highly, particularly if lives need protecting that he himself cannot do.Senbonzakura -- this may be more instinct than choice, relying on the deep relationship.

Is there a certain scent that brings about nostalgia? If so, describe a memory this scent brings back.A mixture of cloves from sword oil, ink, and old papers, the smell that lingered around his father in the evenings when he came home and spent time with his young son. Often, it's just the simple memories that Byakuya recalls, games played with his father, but they're precious nonetheless.

Are there any recent/daily thoughts they have about death or dying?In short, no. He doesn't dwell on death in the least, instead simply accepting it as a fact of his existence that will one day happen to him. Byakuya prefers to focus on having no regrets in his life when that time does come.

If not, why?While he does accept that there is some balance in the universe, he doesn't believe in the concept of 'good and evil' or some divine equation of sides. For him, it is instead a matter of choices being lawful, moral, or unselfish, and the severity of a decision.

Would they ever wish upon a falling star? If so, what would they wish?No. even when he was a child, he considered wishes to be naive and foolish and always believed that hard work is the only way to earn what he wants with the rest being unachievable.

Describe how they would spend a stormy, overcast/rainy day.On the rare days the captain has off, he would most likely spend it quietly admiring the weather from inside or training in an enclosed court. Otherwise, it would be spent as every other: doing his duty, wind, rain, or shine.

Describe a physical action that shows complete trust.Although it is exceedingly rare for Byakuya to trust wholeheartedly, there are a couple of individuals that have earned the privilege. These people are the only ones he allows to see beyond the mask that covers his emotions, whether it be a flash of loneliness or pain, or a small smile or quiet chuckle. He also lets these people to come into contact with him and be physically closer than he would typically let anyone else.

Explain how they portray feelings of hostility or dislike.If he is confronted with someone or something distasteful, the Kuchiki tries to avoid reacting to it at all, instead preferring to ignore that particular quality unless he's left with no other choice. If so, then he will be as curt as possible, even bordering on rudeness as much as his scruples allow or state the issue outright and leave it at that.

Name at least two people who can trust them with their life.Ichigo Kurosaki -- it was because of the boy that he realised how badly he'd erred with his decisions about Rukia, and Byakuya knows that Ichigo would protect her with his life so in turn, the noble would do the same.Rukia -- naturally, she is infinitely precious to him and while he won't obstruct her path as he used to, if his sister needed him, Byakuya would move heaven and earth for her.

Name one thing about the way their emotions work that they despise.Although he has since come to accept her, for the longest time after adopting Rukia, Byakuya harbored a deep-seated resentment for his new sister. She looked like the woman he'd loved, had been Hisana's focus throughout their marriage, and part of the reason she'd fallen fatally ill. But Byakuya also felt horrible guilt for feeling that way towards an innocent girl who could no more control that situation than she could move the moon.So, for decades, he buried his feelings behind that impenetrable mask and held her at a distance even though it only made that self-hatred worse--until a certain Ryoka boy forced him to confront the very core of his beliefs and made him realise how foolish he'd been.
