Kiss
They had all been drinking for a few hours now and playing games besides. At some point Rosefica had ended up in Vittani’s lap, the warlock’s arms looped around the other woman’s neck. As usual they were engaging in their little affections, knowing how it piqued the interests of the two men occupying the other couch.
It was even worse for Traejan as Vittani had a cruel tendency to flash him images and feelings through their link, her devious smirk just visible over Rosefica’s curls. He was beginning to get fed up with the two women always seeming to get away with everything. There was New Year’s stolen kiss to consider as well as just about every other time..
He tossed back another shot, upending the empty glass on the coffee table. Across the way Rosefica placed another peck on Vittani’s cheek and giggled. He felt the couch shift as Aegnas sat forward and poured himself another drink, at which point Traejan saw his opportunity. He dare not over-think it or else he was all but guaranteed to talk himself out of it.
He felt Aegnas tense instantly as he grabbed a hold of his shoulders and pulled him around, no doubt anticipating some sort of attack. He didn’t know what else might have gone through Aegnas’ head after that, nothing else in the moment but the fact that he was kissing him. He tried to make it count, anticipating backlash at any moment.
Traejan was as good as his reputation suggested and despite the recipient seemed not to be struggling with it. He was convincing enough that one might have thought he were actually enjoying it.
Vittani and Rosefica had gone still and silent. He could only imagine the looks on their faces.
Win.
The first thing that went through Aegnas’s mind when Traejan grabbed him was that the other death knight was going to attack him, for some reason. He tensed, fingers immediately seeking his runeblades, which like his armor were across the room stacked neatly against a wall. It was with absolute incredulity that he watched Traejan’s mouth descend on his.
What’s he doing? Aegnas didn’t respond to Traejan at first, as he sat there, completely at a loss as the other death knight kissed him…very well. Oh. Oh, he’s good. Dear Light, he is good at this. As Traejan’s lips moved on his, Aegnas relaxed into the kiss. It was when he started to kiss Traejan back that the thought, Wait, this is Traejan!, flashed across his mind and was quickly dismissed. Damn, he is good at this. He deepened the kiss as he, hesitatingly, grabbed Traejan’s shoulder with one hand to steady himself.
Really, at that point, he’d forgotten Rose and Vittani were right there.
Rosefica looked down at Vittani and grinned, “Told you~” Her little whisper was barely a sound against the other woman’s ear. Very slowly, (to avoid breaking up the moment that she would never, ever, ever have previously admitted to desiring) Rosefica leaned over to pick up her party popper, Double barrelled, it seemed like just the perfect thing. Pan! Pan! "Hooray! Happy new year to me~!" she sang as confetti and specks of colored foil filled the air in the room. She leaned down and kissed Vittani’s forehead, murmuring, "Didn’t I tell you he’d do something like this?" Through their shared connection, her soft, sweet voice wrapped around them warmly. Thank you~
Vittani stared, and stared. The moment lasted, and she couldn't have recalled Rose's own kiss having been that long. Her cheeks had begun to flush red with warmth as she realized what was going on. The thing, the thing with the thing that Rose had talked about before, and now it was all happening before her eyes and there were no words for it. What am I supposed to do? ... Am I--.. I don't think I'm angry, I... She stared open-mouthed at the two still, perhaps longer than was rightfully polite. "Wh--... I--... Hnnnngggh..." That noise was all too familiar. That same sound she let out, quiet as it was. It was that kind of oddly pleased sound that often came about when she'd had some of Rose's cooking...
