i still think spam has a tongue and mouth and stuff its just attached to the inside of the puppet. his face cant be removed. i wanted to think of a like body horror way of his anatomy and such, meshing "flesh" with artifice and truly corrupting himself, something something 'a shell of who he once was.' youd think removing the shell would return him to his former self but the files that compose him just scatter into the world around like if you deleted a folder and let all the files inside it enter the parent folder. he wouldnt exist anymore. hed just kind of turn into glistening dust. its necessary that he stays together.
like jevil i believe he has a delusional disorder but it shows much differently,and regarding his tics they remind me if anxiety tics (like i said) because in moments of peace (like after we fight him) he is capable of normal speech. ik tourettes can also be like that but let me have this you guys.. /funny
hes so very aware of his changes that hes endured that its hard to feel anything less than constantly on edge and anxious. every day he lives feeling guilty.
i do think the only solace he has now though is not having to deal with existing as an afab person. i had to think hard about gender trauma and spamton but i think however he became this puppet, whatever made him that way, made his body completely blank like a true wooden doll encasing him. he carved the crease in his chest and painted himself white as the only way of reclaiming his body and as his psychotic tendencies overtook him he began to forgot about that little but of euphoria
re: jevil is his ex but meant well i dont think its inherently jevils fault spamton is as hurt/changed as he is now they just tore each other apart. it was a rebound on spam's part
re: glasses, he was always a flawed addison so i think he was blind. the glasses he had were those parts of screens that process color so he could actually see the world around him. he didnt need them in tv world so he felt more confident there and after he got puppetified the lenses reflect 'his' colors permanently. idk i havent thought about this i just think its cool :3
smth i forgot to mention, i do think rouxls hates looking prominently masc or fem. he prefers androgyny
regarding partners hes had i think he struggles to respect people who date him because he sees them as 'easy,' or 'stupid,' like the only reason theyd date him is if theyre too dumb to realize why they shouldnt, theyre too dumb to realize why hes even with them. he will act affectionate but step all over them because and he thinks that because of that hes allowed to just step all over them. he has it in him to change im certain but hes never been given the chance. but i do think hes come to respect lanino and elnina more because of their ability to just up and leave. but he doesnt respect king and genuinely thinks HE was the one taking advantage of KING, and not the other way around. thats why he is more sour/hateful towards king than he is towards lanino and elnina, even sort of missing them, despite the fact that they literally broke up with HIM.

to me i feel like rouxls genuinely does desire love/friendship etc (which is why he holds lancer dear to him, thats his son) but he just wants to ruin every relationship hes in/step on who hes with to get more powerful.
also another thing about rouxls, related to above, i imagine hes very young also. in his mid 20's at most, probably 23-25. hes not old enough to be responsible at all really but king was the only person to give him any worth so he chases that again even though theres no way king was a good partner to him. like at all.
hes very ashamed of all the things that make him him but simultaneously likes to pretend that he, as the rules card, has worth in the deck, and fights his fate as a 'worthless card' in his own way. but its so detrimental to himself. he defines the rules of things (rules card!!!) but has been tossed aside so much he doesnt quite realize that he can be powerful on his own or that he could genuinely be a difficult opponent, he relies on others to make him feel powerful in a traditional sense. but he literally rewrote the rules of battle in chapter 3. we had no choice but to act. he defined our actions. but hes too stuck craving 'worth' to realize.
theres a lot i have to say about rouxls and he really resonates with me, bc im also a 20-25 yr old who got himself into detrimental situations craving artificial worth. i want him to have an arc where he realizes his own self worth and stops defining himself by the perception of the object he is i really do but he'd probably fight the heroes and be a rly hard boss if he did help
