PINCONCERTINA: TURF WARS AND NORMALCY (JASON & FAN 1)
JASON JEREMY JOHNS finds out his favourite vacation spot, TEDIUM, has been corrupted by the two extreme forces of violence, LECHE and NACHO. He complains to his ‘best friend’, FAN-JA.
NACHO and LECHE are the two most wanted criminals in all of the city of TEDIUM. The bounties on their head guarantee the law enforcement a free year of being GOD OF POLICE, the captor essentially gets to control everything. Their presence is so strong, it forms gangs based on their existence.
JASON JEREMY JOHNS: I mean, crap, man… I just got here! Why do I gotta pick sides in now!? It gets so confusing, you know, it really does. What if I’m not on any side - they’ll just think I’m with the other or the other or whatever. The opinionated mediator, not, I am. I just wanna have fun here, that’s what it’s always been about… It gets so testy, these turf wars… People fight like their lives depend on it over these things, things we are all guilty of doing… but it’s okay because it’s with the side we’ve chosen… This once was a town of Tedium wasn’t it…? I just wish things would go back to the ways they were frankly. I’ll say it, I miss it! I wish for it, I dream for it, the life of normalcy. It’s like I’ve been through a coma for a year and everything’s changed without me, my enemies are my gang and my gang are my enemies! Is it too much to ask we all get all along…!? Frankly, I’ve got a bad, bad case of FOMO!
FAN: What does it matter anymore? You don’t exist.
