Oh, how the other’s words broke her heart. Shattered it into a million pieces. “Yes, Wanda. Yes. Of course you are. You love your children no matter what. No matter where they are or how old. That makes you an excellent mother. I promise you will feel it again. I know you will.”

Even as little time as she had with her children, they were the most important beings in the universe to Wanda. Those boys were hers, and she loved them with all of her heart. Losing them was excruciating. How was this fair?

Tears streamed down her cheeks as she held back sobs. It had been extremely difficult for her to keep it together lately, “T-they keep telling me they weren’t real, that I just…made them up.”
