ASOIAF - A New Reign
The year is 197, and six moons have passed since Daemon I Blackfyre won his throne at the battle of Redgrass. Lord Bloodraven and the remaining Targaryens have fled to Essos. The new Blackfyre king hopes to reconcile the divided realm as he brings forth a new era. As such, men and women from every part of the realm are included in his court and councils. Even Dorne, who fought on the losing Targaryen side, is being welcomed into the king’s peace. Daemon has declared that all his former foes will be pardoned and forgiven if they answer his summons and bend the knee. All Houses, former foe and leal ally alike are expected to send valued members to court. There, many marriages between noble houses are to be brokered by royal decree, to ensure future loyalty and tie lands together, making a recently split kingdom whole again.
