Made a Pokemon team for my dnd character

Gourgeist- because her coloring reminds me of a pumpkin

Reuniclus- her career before the campaign was a pathologist and she studied how cells reacted to viruses

Porigon Z- it was futuristic and science-y

Blissey- She the main healer of the group

Garvantula- I felt the spider fit the mad scientist vibe I ended up with for the team. She doesn’t get along with everyone and I felt that a spider Pokemon reflected that

Maushold- Lab rats, although she did her tests on herself, not animals

ALTERNATE/Starter of choice

Serperior- She’s a rich neopbaby and will do anything if it means furthering her goal.

Sebek headcanon

Suffs shouldn’t have to exists

Here me out:

We can all agree that the American education system is trash, over-glorifies the country, blah blah blah but what is most frustrating to me is that we are taught that the 19th amendment just kind of popped into the Constitution with no real fight behind it. These women who helped pave the way to our rights are left out of the history books. Which is why to me the line “I want your great-granddaughter to know I was here” hits so hard to me. Because we didn’t.

what I knew going in:

Alice Paul & Susan B. Anthony

Example of what the musical revealed to me/others:

Most do not know Alice Paul

Me and a friend were talking and he admitted that he didn’t know Susan B. Anthony was dead by the time the amendment came out

The fight for the vote lasted 75+ YEARS

Ida B Wells was a suffragist (this was my bad I thought she was just a reporter)

These women got tortured I prison just for exercising their first amendment right

Suffragette was a derogatory term

All of the women except for Alice(I only knew of her because of a project I did)

Suffs is incredibly important because so much of this history gets buried. These women’s Wikipedia pages got so much traction because people paused the proshot to look up them. To learn their stories. I have no doubt that pbs released this proshot on purpose as history repeats itself and we needed proof that change can be done.

watch the proshot. Learn about these women. I beg of you. Because otherwise these women and their fight gets buried.

Scylla staging idea I’ve been marinating

okay okay, if EPIC ever gets a stage adaptation I have a really cool idea for Scylla!

Hear me out: 6 part harmony (I know this would be hell but come on)

so a common theater has around 6 entrances, 2 down stage, 2 mid stage, and 2 upstage(these would be on platforms preferably)

each line where Scylla sings, a different singer symbolizing a different head walks on. Has her moment and the exits before Ody’s crew can see her.

On the “hello” the heads start to come out one by one and dance with a sailor before shoving them offstage

Mateo Manta :D

Really LOVED Mateo’s route, he’s a really sweet character who needs a lot of hugs! Getting his love ending was worth it and that confession scene was just too cute 😭 Mateo’s anxiety for his animals are also relatable (as someone who has a really soft spot for dogs lol) and I would have a heart attack if I lost one of my pets- Decided to do these doodles in my sketchbook and colored/edited the rest in IbisPaint! Anyways, hope you guys enjoy this post and have a good day/night! 💜
