War bolted down the hallway quickly as if she was running away from someone, nearly running into Ocelot in the process.

!!!! Ocelot looked up from his checkboard as he walked, shocked by War bumping into him. He seemed confused, turning to catch her, hold her back so he could get a word in- even if he dropped his papers in the process. “War! What’s going on?”

“I-I kept telling him to go away but he kept following me…” She was literally shaking. War had a huge fear of dogs and DD was no different. War avoided the dog like the plague but for some reason DD liked to be around her. Recently, the dog had been following her and trying to get her to play with him. “I-I don’t want him to be my friend. I want him to leave me alone.”

"I'm sorry, War. I know you don't like to be around him." Ocelot sighed, and set a kind hand on her shoulder. Of course, it was likely minimal comfort here.

He knew this fear of hers was... Less than ideal. Such dips in morale weren't good for the base as a whole- even one soldier acting off was dangerous. So....

"War, would it help if I had you stationed on a different platform? You'd likely see him less, yes?"

Her eyes were wide with terror and she was barley able to get a word out before she heard the footsteps approaching. She quickly hid behind Ocelot and wrapped her arms around his waist. “Make him go away! P-please!” After a moment DD came around the corner and yipped playfully. For some reason the dog seemed to be very fond of War. However, the young girl didn’t feel the same.

Oh. Ocelot held back a chuckle, as she really did seem that terrified- but he was not cruel to DD. “DD! No, sit.” He took a hold of the dog’s harness, and pushed on him. “Go find Boss, DD.” Of course, the dog was never good with orders, unless they came from Venom himself, but Ocelot got him to go- begrudgingly, at least. He watched the creature depart, before sighing. “You seem to have made a friend, War.”
