This ship is absolutely delicious to me. I truly think Cinderella and Brooklyn are perfect for each other, which is why I see them as soulmates. Plus adding your idea of them dreaming about one another only deepens their soulmate connection. For the longest time, Brooklyn believed his feelings were one-sided and destined to be unrequited, but to his surprise they weren’t. Cinderella confessed that she loves him and cherishes him as her dear friend. In Gargoyle culture, deep bonds are always formed before becoming mates, which makes their relationship even more meaningful. They’re soft, romantic, and without a doubt my ultimate OTP.
Oh boy, I absolutely adore these two! X3 Their relationship is the definition of “it’s complicated.” Lexington struggles with trust issues, while Snow White gives hers freely, which unsettles him a bit at first. But over time he realizes her kindness is genuine and slowly lets his guard down. The more she earned Lex’s trust and became his friend, the more she found herself falling in love with him. Being shy, she doesn’t know how to confess, which makes it feel one sided at first—and later, it flips to being one sided on his part too. They’re soulmate‑adjacent, because when Snow White wished at the well for the one she loves to find her, that person turns out to be Lexington. And when she falls under the enchanted slumber where true love’s kiss breaks the spell, it’s never said it only applies to humans. So when Lex leans over and gently caresses her hair in a gargoyle’s version of a parting kiss, and the spell breaks.
Hudson x Fairy Godmother:
This ship is pure comfort food for the soul! Hudson has been out of the dating game for many years, believing he had already found love, cherished it while it lasted, and mourned his mate when it was gone. He never thought he could find love again... until Fairy Godmother helped him. She’s been around for a long time herself, always watching others she’s guided toward true love, but never imagining she could find it for herself because she’s always been the giver. But with Hudson, she lightens him up, and together they’re warm and friendly, building a deep friendship. Both of them knew their romantic feelings were mutual, and it didn’t take long for that bond to blossom into something more.
To me, Aurora and Griff are probably the most dreamy and romantic couple out of the bunch. Aurora is the fair maiden, and Griff is the valiant knight. Both of them were thrown into circumstances far beyond their control. Griff believed his only duty was to protect London from the Nazis during World War II, even if it meant sacrificing his life. Instead, fate carried him forward into the future of 1996. Aurora, meanwhile, grew up never knowing she was a princess and was doomed to die under Maleficent’s curse, though Merryweather softened it into an eternal slumber. They understand each other because both were torn from the lives they thought they were meant to live. Confiding in one another about these burdens draws them closer, and what begins as friendship blossoms into romantic intimacy.
