There are not enough flowers in the world

To make the earth more pretty

There are not enough words in the world

To express what we feel deeply

There’s not enough air in the world

To breathe what is healthy

There’s not enough change in the world

To let everyone be who they want to be 

There isn’t enough common sense yet

To inform everyone on the internet 

That there’s not enough of anything 

All thanks to our everything

Hold your shields

Aim your guns

Steady your thoughts

Stand your ground

Do not let the darkness

Get past you

The hallways of the world

Are defended by these brave souls

Every day they are charged

By a new darkness

That shoots back at them 

Giving their lives

Their Minds

Their sanity for the sake

Of what's left of humankind

Rhyming is a pleasing sound to the ear

It goes in one and out the other

To find the perfect balance

To prevent them going silent

Introspection weapon

The guards of my mind were murdered And the killers swept in Even though I hired them I wonder why again I paid them enough, surely As they are now allowed to take over Fully When they get to me in the center I’ll smile and gesture my Surrender - As the killers deploy Into their twisted formation I watch them as they collectively destroy The core of my frustration So that it would be no more

I saw what was inside, did I mention? This was the result of my  “Introspection” A failing mind in a failing time A mental state Which burden was mine - I had to replace the core with a better So that I could live happily Forever

Sleeping on sanity

Back on the mind that drove me crazy

Back to the room where things got hazy

Back to sleeping on sanity

Waking to the thing that’s inside of me

Back to the thought that fought

It’s way out of me

And now there’s no going back

And there’s the thing I still lack

A good rest for the wicked mind

And a good dream to forget time

Time and time again there’s no end

To when

I walked the halls and ignored the calls

The cycle begins again

And

The halls get darker

The calls grow louder

The seams rip faster

The pillows hide the answers

Sleeping on sanity

Because it’s the only time

The right and wrong are realized

I wake up to the madness that drove me

Away from the world that holds me

And see the same things

Fallen family

Walking one night and I fell  Not into a trench or a well But when I fell I fell to hell I found my brother there And he says to me “Why oh why did you follow your family?” Looking around I see All of the ancestors and descendants Of whom pictures were shown to me Grandfather- shot and killed by the cop he was aiming for Father- Who got what he was asking for A man whose heart couldn’t carry the thought Of who was to become the next distraught With the world and all of its lies He says- “I think we’re better down here Better in disguise” Or maybe we belong

Winters end

Your seasonal affective disorder And mine too Will soon be melted away Wonderful news Melted to water to be gone  Seen again next winter for sure Hope the grace period is long Because winter will be back for more Mark the calendar, you’ll see summer then And be sure to fully appreciate Winters end

Showering red

They were being chased by dragons as they came from the sky Stars and moon behind them Setting the darkness that’s behind Circling them like hungry vultures Wondering where they went wrong They start to run and venture To the place they became strong The hidden oasis That was deep inside their mind Once dark and spacious Now full of life Pulling out the energy That they stored within Unleashed it on these enemies And created their end Death and blood Covered the sky Showering them in red And staining everything nearby

Single file

Every version of me walks

For miles

To the one who talks

The one who gave me

Everything I needed

The one who made mistakes

The one who succeeded

In having what it takes

That person

We march to

Is me

Years from now

And I can’t wait

To see what that me, has to say

Before that me, falls in the grave

That we dug for this day

Worthy but undeserving

I wish I saw Better fortune To see it with my eyes But filled with contortion Our luck is

- Karma is running Out of explanations For why I am  Undeserving of All the things I wished Would’ve happened But of course, opportunities missed

- I’m unworthy? I can barely Dream of  Anything Anymore Fate has me confused

- Emptiness In slow motion Well it’s probably My own emotions Trying their best to survive They deserve life They want to thrive - But it’s all a mindset Isn’t that what he said? So my mind  Is playing games With the other names Of people I left behind

- What’s a good day for you? A good day to me Is holding others up  So that the domino effect Doesn’t fuck me up So that karma Can leave me alone But luck told it To mess with my head And destiny told them To fill it with lead And I told all of it “I’m going to bed”

Nothing in this world Everything in you You are powerful The world is.... Naught But Maybe  You forgot?

The world is awful Beautiful and dirty Sorrow will come for you And be quite flirty

Remember the word “power” Keep it in your mind As a forever reminder That you will not be kind To the darkness that stains The eyelids of your eyes  That you will keep going Until the end of your time
